Wow, negative difficulty levels.. Way to make new players feel good about themselves
Seems like it, but tbh it's pretty much up to you to see whether you've "cleared" a level or not. Furthermore, mania is quite different compared to std in the sense that there are many playstyles in which players unvoluntarily specializes, meaning some maps are (sometimes FAR) easier for player A who's good at chords but harder for player B who is used to streams although they both clear the same "level" of map.1-3-3-7 wrote:
So, that's something like that - https://osu.ppy.sh/forum/viewtopic.php?t=77719 but for mania?
Why not putting new maps with old ones and just add a [NEW] tag next to them ?Aqo wrote:
bumpity bump! going to add another batch soon.
do people prefer new maps to be instantly thrown into the mix with old ones or to be put separately for a while before merging?

So my next step is Level 10 huh.
God Wintersun, I'm never gonna make it :c.
I think I would be able to pass the latter on a good day. Still no hope for Wintersun though ;-;.Murako Izuriha wrote:

I sort of disagree. The most skilled 7k players can easily get the scores that the most skilled 4k players can get. It's just not the other way around.EtienneXC wrote:
These should be separated by key mode because some of the most skilled 7k players can't come close to some of the scores that 4k players can get. Same goes for the other way. SR is broken too so don't go by that please.

And 5K. But surprised that even 6K is ignored.PyaKura wrote:
though there are some 8K maps thrown in there as well
Well the very fact that this is simply impossible to achieve is part of why the different keymodes should be separated.Redon wrote:
