Looked at your insane. Nice map. Jumps were fun imo.

Think offset should be at around 136-138, might just be me though. Was expecting more triplet stacks throughout the song, just a suggestion though, if it doesn't fit you don't have to add.

02:11:541 (6) - I was expecting a stop like in your other streams where the final sort of "drum" beat sounds.

Just a couple of some suggestions, not a complete mod. GL! :)

Was expecting more triplet stacks throughout the song, just a suggestion though, if it doesn't fit you don't have to add. I don't know, i usually add these only when they are very obvious, so i probably didn't hear them and didn't add them :OO

02:11:541 (6) - I was expecting a stop like in your other streams where the final sort of "drum" beat sounds. Wow you're right, thanks it looks a lot better now :D Edit: I let some people play it and i guess i'll reverse it again... the stop's kinda too sudden and it's not really playable *that* good, sorry :(

Just a couple of some suggestions, not a complete mod. GL! :) You'll get kudosu anyways :P

Alright, disregarding my previous post about the timing on this map; here's the mod:

  • General

    • I think 140 offset sounds more accurate. (just remember to change to 1/8 before using re-snap all if you decide to apply this)
    • Reduce the overall volume of the hitsounds, I suggest around 75% volume throughout the entire map. And maybe you can make the beginning even more quiet, like 50%, and make timing points that gradually increase the volume up until the first chorus. I think that would be a nice touch.
    • Use 2 for slider tick rate for all diffs, because of the BPM.

    Hitsounds
Since all of your difficulties lack hitsounds, I'm going to include them here in the General section, and I'm going to use Insane difficulty as a reference, and then you can add the same hitsounds to your other difficulties but with slight changes since there will be less hit objects.
    • 00:13:850 (5) - soft finisher
    • 00:16:250 (4) - soft finisher on the return point, whistle on the ending
    • 00:17:450 (6) - whistle
    • 00:19:678 (2,3) - whistle on both of the slider starts
    • 00:21:050 (1) - soft finisher on the end
    • 00:24:136 (6) - soft finisher on the end
You get the idea, right? Basically just keep adding these type of hitsounds throughout the map: whistle when there's noticeable vocals like the "eh-oh, eh-oh", soft finishers on the start of a new measure where it fits. You can try switching the whistles up for claps at some point for variety.
    • During the choruses, here's the pattern I would strongly suggest: (since your BPM is half of what it should be and the measures / time signattures aren't correct, I'm going to refer to the ticks by their colours instead of the numbers in a measure) Use whistle for every white and red tick, and use clap for every red tick. (or you can try using clap on every white tick instead, see which one you like better) And you can try adding in soft finishers, like for these for example: 00:41:621 (1) and 00:42:307 (2) .

    Insane

    • 00:21:050 (1) - reposition this slider to something like this (so that the previous note is kinda in the center):
and adjust the follow-up objects slightly so that they don't overlap.
    • 00:46:250 (2,3,4) - maybe move them slightly away from each other and adjust the 2 sliders that they're in-between, something like this:
    • 00:51:221 (1,1,2,1,2) - I don't like this part, the reverse slider with 2 reverses. I have an idea here. Change all these to this:
    • 01:00:478 - Definitely add a note here (with a finisher) - it's the start of a new measure and the beat is clearly audible.
    • 01:03:221 - A note is required here as well.
    • 01:23:793 (1,2,3,4,1) - same suggestion as above, that had the same type of arranged combo.
    • 02:00:478 (2,3) - change this to
and you can alter the first part of the combo too, I just think having a slider starting on 02:00:821 feels better.
    • 02:13:164 (1,2,3,4,1) - same suggestion as the previous 2 parts that were the same.
    • 02:19:336 (6,7,8) - might be better if you don't stack these, but make some sort of mini-jumps.

    Hard

    • 01:03:221 - add a note here
    • 01:14:193 - note here
    • 01:29:621 (4) - remove the final return, add a note on 01:30:650 (or you can make it a slider and change the follow-up a bit) and make it NC, remove NC on 01:30:993 (1)
    • 01:48:993 (1,2,3) - You tried to make it kinda follow the vocals, but they don't start with the new measure, so I think you should remove the first part of the combo, and just make it like this:
    • 02:02:536 - feel like a note is needed here as well

    Normal

    • 00:47:793 (2) - change to:
    • 01:16:593 (3) - same as above, it doesn't sound right this way.
    • 01:56:707 (1,2,3) - I'm not so sure about stacking all these.
    • 02:01:164 (1) - remove NC
    • 02:02:193 (2) - add NC
    • 02:02:536 (1) - remove NC
    • 02:03:564 (2) - add NC
    • 02:03:907 (1) - remove NC
    • 02:04:936 (1) - add NC
    • 02:33:050 (1) - I know you made this slider for every difficulty but it might seem confusing for normal. Also, it doesn't end on 02:33:736 like it should. (it does on Hard and Insane though)
I think that's everything that bothered me. Hope this helps. Good luck!

    Insane

    • 00:21:050 (1) - reposition this slider to something like this (so that the previous note is kinda in the center):
    Done
and adjust the follow-up objects slightly so that they don't overlap.
    • 00:46:250 (2,3,4) - maybe move them slightly away from each other and adjust the 2 sliders that they're in-between, something like this:
    agree, looks cleaner
    • 00:51:221 (1,1,2,1,2) - I don't like this part, the reverse slider with 2 reverses. I have an idea here. Change all these to this:
Nice idea, used it with a little change :D
    • 01:00:478 - Definitely add a note here (with a finisher) - it's the start of a new measure and the beat is clearly audible. Added
    • 01:03:221 - A note is required here as well. Added
    • 01:23:793 (1,2,3,4,1) - same suggestion as above, that had the same type of arranged combo. yeah, re-arranged
    • 02:00:478 (2,3) - change this to
    Changed it to

and you can alter the first part of the combo too, I just think having a slider starting on 02:00:821 feels better.
    • 02:13:164 (1,2,3,4,1) - same suggestion as the previous 2 parts that were the same. yeah well i changed it with all of them when you first mentioned it :D
    • 02:19:336 (6,7,8) - might be better if you don't stack these, but make some sort of mini-jumps. lol wtf happened there... they were definitely supposed to be mapped somehow xD

    Hard

    • 01:03:221 - add a note here Added
    • 01:14:193 - note here Added
    • 01:29:621 (4) - remove the final return, add a note on 01:30:650 (or you can make it a slider and change the follow-up a bit) and make it NC, remove NC on 01:30:993 (1) Just removed the repeat and added a circle instead, two sliders would have troubled my spacing a bit :D
    • 01:48:993 (1,2,3) - You tried to make it kinda follow the vocals, but they don't start with the new measure, so I think you should remove the first part of the combo, and just make it like this:
Actually liked the part, and i don't think it disturbs it somehow.. gonna remove if more ppl complain :P
    • 02:02:536 - feel like a note is needed here as well i made the (5) a slider which ends at 02:02:536, looks good imo

    Normal

    • 00:47:793 (2) - change to:
    Agreed
    • 01:16:593 (3) - same as above, it doesn't sound right this way. You don't seem to like long sliders, do you? :D
    • 01:56:707 (1,2,3) - I'm not so sure about stacking all these.
    • 02:01:164 (1) - remove NC
    • 02:02:193 (2) - add NC
    • 02:02:536 (1) - remove NC
    • 02:03:564 (2) - add NC
    • 02:03:907 (1) - remove NC
    • 02:04:936 (1) - add NC ^ All agreed
    • 02:33:050 (1) - I know you made this slider for every difficulty but it might seem confusing for normal. Also, it doesn't end on 02:33:736 like it should. (it does on Hard and Insane though)
Yeah changed it into some easy pattern

I think that's everything that bothered me. Hope this helps. Good luck!
Thanks a lot, good luck with your Dragonforce map :D

General

  1. Disable Letterbox in breaks
  2. Big NC problems. Place them on every big white tick.

Normal

  • Not going to mod this since the distances are kinda fucked up. Please use a constant distance snap.
As you can see in this screenshot http://puu.sh/7ment.png the distance variies to much. It shouldn't even vary by 0,01 in Normals imo.

Insane

  1. 00:14:193 (1) - CTRL + G, then snap it with 00:13:850 (5) -
  2. 00:16:250 (4) - Move a bit to the upper left, so that's a perfect triangle with the previous objects
  3. 00:15:907 (3,4) - Fix blanket
  4. 00:16:250 (4) - NC
  5. 00:18:993 (1) - Since the big white tick is much more emphasized than the rest and a slidertail isn't as much emphasized as a circle/sliderhead/repeat consider removing the repeat and placing a circle at 00:19:336 or just simply replace with a triplet
  6. 00:21:050 (1) - Probably something like http://puu.sh/7mdvy.jpg would be beter here.
  7. 00:22:421 (2,3,4) - Put distances between them.
  8. 00:23:450 (5) - http://puu.sh/7mdzt.jpg
  9. 00:24:136 (6) - Remove repeat and place circle at 00:24:821
  10. 00:29:964 (5) - http://puu.sh/7mdD8.jpg
  11. Place note on 00:32:878
  12. 00:33:050 (1) - Finish
  13. 00:35:278 (2,3,4) - Rearrange like http://puu.sh/7mdHV.jpg + make the distances constant. As you can see the distance between 2 and 1 aren't the same as between 2 and 3
  14. 00:38:021 (7,1) - Please do it like this http://puu.sh/7mdKz.jpg
  15. 01:02:193 (7) - Remove repeat and place circle on 01:02:878
  16. 01:04:421 (5) - Don't stack please. Doesn't make any sense to me here.
  17. 01:06:307 (1,2,1,2) - Hitsounding sounds wrong to me. (same 01:09:050 (1,2,1,2) - )
  18. 01:08:364 (5) - Replace with http://puu.sh/7mdTq.jpg
  19. 01:10:764 (3) - Remove repeat + place circle at 01:11:450
  20. 01:11:793 (2,3) - Probably just me but these red anchor point sliders don't fit here very well imo
  21. 01:13:507 (1) - Please fix DS, too far away
  22. 01:13:507 (1) - Remove repeat + circle on big white
  23. 01:14:707 (3,4) - Stack doesn't really make sense here.
  24. 02:13:164 (1) - Consider to CTRL + G it and move it a little bit closer to 02:12:821 (4) -
  25. 02:16:764 (6) - CTRL + G
  26. 02:23:107 (2,3) - No stack here please :c
  27. 02:25:507 (1) - Please...do something like that http://puu.sh/7mee1.jpg. They are way to "fat" :/
  28. 02:33:050 (3) - I don't know if this is so good timeline wise :c -> http://puu.sh/7meiR.jpg

    To-do list for you:
=> Consider improving your timeline. Emphasized notes shouldn't be mapped with a slidertail since I slider tail isn't emphasized.
    => Fix your DS
    => Fix blankets

Hope this helped~

  7. 00:22:421 (2,3,4) - Put distances between them. Done

  10. 00:29:964 (5) - http://puu.sh/7mdD8.jpg don't you like that they overlap? i don't really see why to fix this

  16. 01:04:421 (5) - Don't stack please. Doesn't make any sense to me here. So [6] becomes a little jump, not gonna change
  17. 01:06:307 (1,2,1,2) - Hitsounding sounds wrong to me. (same 01:09:050 (1,2,1,2) - ) Tried a little around and it's the best i could come up with... i have no idea of hitsounding because i play with hitsounds that sound all the same -> no clue how to use them here
  18. 01:08:364 (5) - Replace with http://puu.sh/7mdTq.jpg Done, also replaced the one before
  19. 01:10:764 (3) - Remove repeat + place circle at 01:11:450 Done
  20. 01:11:793 (2,3) - Probably just me but these red anchor point sliders don't fit here very well imo hm i like them :D if more modders complain, i'll change it
  21. 01:13:507 (1) - Please fix DS, too far away Moved closer to the circle, slider jumps are easier and i don't wanna redo that slider
  22. 01:13:507 (1) - Remove repeat + circle on big white Done

  24. 02:13:164 (1) - Consider to CTRL + G it and move it a little bit closer to 02:12:821 (4) Nah, like it as it is, i like the cursor movement speed change fast-slow-fast that you have to perform :D

  26. 02:23:107 (2,3) - No stack here please :c Yeah this one makes sense, changed
