dionzz99 is an old-school name. Very old-school. Their oldest mapset dates all the way back to 2013 — can you believe 2013 was ten years ago? Anyways, I definitely wasn't around long enough to witness nor confirm this, but dionzz99 seemed to be one of the few pioneers of scrolling variation, slider velocity gimmicks on osu!mania, also affectionately known as "SV". Tenkai Rising is unequivocally their most infamous creation.
Do you remember ecafree2's map of Bizzare Nation? The gimmicks here are pretty similar, albeit the difficulties themselves are more physically demanding. Remember: there's no issue with your monitor, it's the map itself that works that way! You can feel free to enjoy the "Tenkai" difficulties without SV, or you can dive into what makes this beatmap really infamous: the "Tachyon" difficulties. The "Rising" and "Madness" sets of difficulties also provide you with different kinds of physical and patterning challenges.
