I thought about a new way of improving, read to learn more

It all started when I understood that my improve is kinda stuck at one place. The reason of that was mainly the fact that I was doing to much high AR maps completely ignoring low AR ones which made my skill very one-sided and didnt allow me to play tournaments (since I wasnt able to win a match lol). I have made a lot of progress since then but learning aspects of the game which I used not to play at all (aim and reading in my case) is still very hard even though I put a lot of effort into it. This made me think again and here is what I came up with.

There are many players like me who are very good at one aspect of the game but completely bad at something else. IMPORTANT: target audience of my training method are those who practiced a lot and do know how to get good at something in particular. By this I mean exact maps to be played, exact way these maps should be played, results to be achieved on these maps which can be considered an improvement etc. And here comes the best thing: what if we combine these people into pairs "teacher - apprentice" where one player is giving another exact tasks and goals and another is trying to achieve them? Of course you can be both the teacher and apprentice at the same time if you feel like it. I considered this thought exciting. Personally me (and probably many playes as well) find it difficult to improve at something they never played before because they dont know how to start learning it, what maps to play, what is the optimal approach, what results are considered good etc. This leads to ineffective training, slow improvement, disappointment and finally stagnation, then the circle repeats itself. And all these issues can easily be addressed by those who already put their time and effort into developing this particular side of skill and achieved results.

For the most effective results of methods several conditions should be met:
- Teacher should be approximately of the same rank as apprentice or higher
- Apprentice should be really willing to improve. Result wont come the in one or two days, this might take weeks for the changes to get noticable, be rady for that.
- Teacher will be giving tasks to the apprentice in levels
Level consists of a set of maps (10-25) on which apprentice should achieve certain results in order to move to the next level of skill. This continues until apprentice can play at the same level as a techer in terms of a skill which is being trained.
- There should only be one skill aspect which is being trained. Here list of those I could think of: HD, HR, DT, aim, reading, consistency, streams/stamina, alt. This is subjected to change if needed.
- Apprentice should fully follow techers recomendations.
- Apprentice can change the teacher anytime.
- Teacher can stop teaching apprentice if one is not following their recommendations

After first month of the experiment Ill make a rating of best techers whose methods proved to be effective for the most apprentices. For it Ill use a special questionary among apprentices. The best one is getting 2 month of supporter and second and third places will be awarded with one month of supporter. Also a special discord role of Wise Teacher will be given to them (This will look cool XD)

If you are willing to become a teacher plaese DM me and Ill give you the role
Also you will have to submit an application to the corresponding channel in the following format:
- OSU profile link
- What skill are you willing to teach and your rank
- Your most significant achivements in this skill (scores)

Here is the discord server for those who are interested: https://discord.gg/qTGP9DhmKv

Lets rock this game together!

Once again amazed by ChatGPT ability to analize
But im not really aiming to get a high user count on the server. What I really try to achieve is a proof-of-concept for the method I created. Hope it will work!

so this is just the coaching system but the coach is literally free and they do not get paid. surely that will work :tf:

IMO a mutual binding system would work way better, where both players give recommendations to the other. Not only they get better at osu, but they also will probably become good friends.

thats basically the idea in perfect implementation, if a pair of players can cover each others back in their weak spots. Id love to see this happening

I mean, if you just really like lifeline that's just donating, but you have to understand that there is no content in coaching that is worth actually paying for

+ There are hundreds of videos on Youtube talking about how to improve in osu, so why paying for coaching?

And all of them keep spouting the same exact advice so all you need to do is to watch a single one of them and that's basically all of your coaching session. You can examine your skills and weaknesses by yourself. You don't need anyone else.
