Yeah it's impossible
It's not impossible, you just have horrible rhythm sense.
If you don't have any idea how fast the map is going, the "speed" of the objects coming in (i.e. a slow triplet vs. a fast triplet), and the general rhythm of the song, you're going to have horrible accuracy in this game anyways but it'll be extra-horrendous when you're playing with the OD almost at its most restrictive and punishing.
On the one hand, it might be better to just play a lot of OD10 songs (naturally via HR) or using something like mcosu or Osu!Trainer to change it), but on the other I wonder if you'd be better off learning to play OD8 or 9 first before jumping to OD10.

"Hitting the notes" is for all those idiots who play on AR/OD10 and play CS:GO-style reactionary-style; no sense of rhythm, just hitting notes as they appear. "Following the rhythm" is for those who remember this is a rhythm game and play accordingly.
I'd cut him some slack since he looks like a kid from his posts. Maybe their brain isn't developed enough idk. If he's not capable of doing OD10 then it's better if he just backs down on it and come back again when he gets good enough.Voidedosu wrote:

That would be better, yes. And dropping HDDT for NM and playing more maps longer than 2 minutes.
(I swear, profiles with nothing but sub-1:30 maps with (HD)DT or a bunch of B/C/D-rank [Hard]/[Insane] maps are starting to make me cringe.)

It takes a long time to learn how to properly acc OD 10, and it does look impossible during earlier stages of the game. Just keep playing and you'll get better.
hmm also thought it was pretty hard but then I started spamming this map with HR and now im actually somewhat being able to get decent acc within just a week of spamming.
I also struggle with OD9.5+, that's why what you see in my profile is a shit HDHR score that is low accuracy FC. Especially me struggling to get 98-99% acc on OD8-OD9.5.KupcaH wrote:

You learn how to acc better as you play more. It is just the matter of getting used to the rhythm and timing window.

If you were never used to play maps with AR10, then of course you'll find it harder than AR9.67
learning AR10 is pretty much the same as learning OD10, just play more and more and you'll eventually learn it.

AR7 + HR = AR9.8 (I struggled so used WhiteCat DT skin, but now I'm reading fine)

OD is very dependent on accuracy, this is why pp is based on OD, because of how hard it is to acc.

my 2 year old laptop can still run osu at around 160 to 230fps

Keypads are a waste of money, just get a whole keyboard instead.
In some circumstances buying a keypad can be better than buying a keyboard, if you are broke and have a shitty keyboard for example xd-Remi wrote:

so , as a player who started the game with Huge accuracy problems I (I used to have 90ish profile accuracy so perhaps mine was even a bigger issue) .. Let me tell you a what I have from experienceAya_f wrote:

1- it's normal for people with no natural rhythm sense to get into the game and struggle with accuracy .. some people are gifted with it some are not and if you get roasted for not having rhythm sense from a rhythm game expert .. it's ok don't sweat about it because those people mostly discourage rather than give actual useful advice

2- know the bpms you play better and understand why ... do some bpms feel too slow too fast ? and try to push your best bpm accuracy (like if you prefer 180 bpm try to push your acc and expand your bpm comfort range)
.
3- you don't really have to play od10 .. you can if you want to but sticking to od 9 first is not bad, don't feel pressured to play hardrock unless you want to.

4- play more .. practice more .. that's how every problem at this game is solved .. your problem doesn't even seem bad at all you are new to the game and od 10 is still difficult for me to acc even after having +33 days of playtime

approaching OSU with "AR10 is impossible" or "OD10 is impossible" is a terrible mindset that you'll learn to break through as you play more. also, try doing what someone else said and get a good grip on AR8/9/9.5 before jumping to AR10, same with CS, OD, or anything else.
it's a game of improving your skills and having fun while doing so.
please just enjoy the game and play more. there's no need to get frustrated and make claims that things are impossible when you have the ability to change your skill level by practicing.
congrats on the FC and the acc, hopefully you can get that to 99 soon.
