If your country HAVE active conscription, Do you think it's right for your government to force its citizen to become a soldier. Do you think this is necessary to protect your nation's sovereignty? If so, then how long should young men be conscripted into the army.
If your country DO NOT have active conscription. Should every citizen, especially every able-body male citizen of your country receive some kind of military training (not necessarily through conscription)? And if your President (or Prime Minister, King, Supreme Leader, whatever) signs a decree to force conscription tomorrow while your country doesn't have any active conflict. What would be your reaction? And would it be different if there's an outside force invading your country?
Finally, do you think it's fair that, most of the time, only men are conscripted for frontline services? Should women be conscripted too?
