Unrelated, can someone help me with some timing issues?

The intro of this song, the singer doesn't sing in time with the music, and I don't think it's a part i should just skip. Any advice is helpful

Hmm I tried to just map it anyways but it still sounds a bit off to my ears - I know the timing is correct, unless I need to change that one section for her vocals which probs wouldn't be a good idea consistency wise

Timing is usually only changed in favor of mistimed instruments and not vocals. Mapping it in 1/4 is most accurate to the song and doesn't throw the metronome that badly imo
