I haven't played it as much on my Switch, but I do have a "remake" (if you could call it that) on my Switch.

DS version is one of the best remakes ever, except for the controls.

Playing it on a 3DS or 2DS would make it a whole lot better, and fix the aforementioned controls issue.
nabii_simp
I play it in an N64, I played the remake as well but the classic is way better :3
HyBer
And I would like to have sex with Waluigi. In a cage. While Mario and the princess are watching us, Luigi would force them to join in. Everybody likes something.

I feel bad for kids nowadays because they probably will never play or hear about this god tier game.

Here's what I read:

Yoshi, Luigi, and Wario are additional playable characters, and the game features slightly altered graphics, additional stars, courses, touchscreen mini-games, and a multiplayer mode.

So the ds version is an upgrade of super mario 64
Windows Me
I play super mario 64 on my ps9 :D /s

there are now 150 stars (vs 120 in the original game), many of which are silver star collections or switch stars
also, the different caps only work on different characters (for example metal cap for wario). Also the fire flower was added as a power up for yoshi. you can collect caps mid level to switch character during a star if you need to and there are also some additional courses such as goomboss battle and the luigi painting in big boo's haunt

overall I would recommend however the game is best enjoyed on a 3ds/2ds as the dpad is not great for controlling mario

Hope this helped and yes this is all off the top of my head

I completed the ds version till 100% great game

The only way I've been able to play this game was through emulation lol, and an online one at that! And to my surprise, if you have a good enough PC, it runs smoothly.

The one I played was on arcadespot. Not sure if it's the Shindou version, though, because I can't perform a BLJ at all. Either that or it's a keyboard issue or skill issue.

I found another one that also kinda works https://sites.google.com/view/pogunblocked/retro-games/sm64?authuser=0

It's difficult to start, though. I couldn't figure out which button to press on my keyboard to get past the main menu so I just spammed random ones until one started it lmao. Otherwise it runs smoothly on school chromebooks somehow lmao

edit: I can't get the sound to work lmao

Now that's cool. I got the hang of it and tried it out for a few minutes. Could you save your progress there? Would be really cool if it does.

teachers get mad when they catch you playing games on the computers instead of actually doing work so the clicking the panic button makes it look like you were doing work all along

That could work but honestly alt+tabbing is probably more easier

I've been wondering why it sent you to google classroom. That's neat XD

I never played Super Mario 64 before. But I've always wanted to, looks like a fun game.

It is a fun game. Better than most triple A titles. Especially play the DS version since it has more content too.
