So recently, I've been playing a lost of jubeat. It's a rhythm game that uses a 4x4 grid as a controller where each square is pressed at rhythmic intervals. And I thought to myself. This would make a great osu! gamemode.
I would imaging osubeat to be played on the numpad, making it only 3x3, with maybe 0 and . to be used as some sort of special keys. Easier modes would probably use a 2x2 grid with numbers 4,5,1, and 2.
