VALKYRIA BATTLE ROYALE - 2ND EDITION
- VALKYRIA BATTLE ROYALE is a mapping contest organized by the AVALON Mentorship Program.
- It boasts the biggest prize pool of any mapping contest, including OBWC.
- Every edition of VBR will follow a theme throughout its runtime. The previous theme was HARDSTYLE.
- VBR2 THEME: ARTCORE
- Each round, contestants will be given an .osz with a song matching the current theme.
- Rounds may have restrictions or gimmicks set in place, which contestants must abide by if they wish to survive.
- Contestants will compete in mapping the best snippet of said song in a given timestamp.
- Each round, a number of contestants will be eliminated. This number will vary based on the amount of participants, until there are 32 survivors left.
- From then onward, the number of survivors will be halved until The Grand Final.
- The Grand Final will consist of the four best mappers who have survived thus far. They will compete in mapping the full song, and the winner will receive the title of THE CONQUEROR in the AVALON Discord Server.
- Following from the previous edition, three new judges will be joining the crew.
- Old judges: Mazzerin, Ryuusei Aika, nhlx, Sharu, Myxo
- New judges: zhuxiaoyan, 0ppInOsu, Gillstar
The prizepool for this tournament is $440.
1st Place - $200 and the title of THE CONQUEROR in the AVALON Discord Server
2nd Place - $100
3rd and 4th Place - $50
5-8th Place - $10
