Launched this modification on Doki Doki Literature Club yesterday and I just wondered. Can this modification somehow damage my computer? If so, how? A question for those who are familiar with this modification, if anything, downloaded from the official Discord.

did you download a skin or what do you mean by "modification"?
if you can play vanilla DDLC without damaging your computer then the mod is just the same, considering you downloaded from their official Discord server and not some shady website.
