What is the reason that many players are stuck at 100k

not really stuck at 100k per se but on the transition from 4 to 5 stars i think (atleast, that's what im experiencing right now) others probably still want to be better before moving up, others losing motivation to play
im playing when im tired ecks dee
because they already fcd all harumachi clover maps so they cant farm anymore
transitioning from 4* to 5* is not that easy

Many do lose motivation, the amount of time you have to play everyday just to stay where you are rank wise (much less try to climb) is just not fun at some points and can become very addicting/toxic.
It can become very disheartening when you stop playing for maybe a week and loose what took you a month to gain.

Rank isn't always indicative of skill (especially 120,000-90,000k). It starts to become more about how much time you're investing into the sole goal of gaining ranks.

Yeah, this is so true. For some reason, there is a huge difference between 4* jumps and 5* jumps. I am one of those players who are hardstuck at 4* jumps, unable to fc any jump-oriented 5*.XdreamawayX wrote:

and you certainly aren't stuck, some of your plays are fairly recent, just keep playing aim maps that you can actually fc and challenge yourself from time to time and you'll improve, don't stress about it.
I just got bored, playing often enough to actually improve just burns me out at this point.

I'd say PP inflation, lack of motivation, there's a lot more competition than a couple of years ago, not enough time spent playing the game (enough time imo is 2k a month), and just many other factors.
Back in June 2019 3,515PP was rank 65K, now it's 114K, and that alone took me like 1 year and 7 months to achieve.

If you only want to get 100k, you will quit after becoming a 5-digit.
This shit is relatable to me back when I was stuck in that pp range
?? 100k is so easy to get out of, i think most people just want to get some more skill before being 5 digit lol
are there really that many? there could be just as many stuck at 200k, but eventually everyone gets out of their rank unless they quit

Focusing on a particular skill is better if you are going for rank+skill improvement. tho that does not mean they be suck at other skills

if we're talking about skill improvement: become balanced
Learning stream, jump, speed together is good but if you are going for balanced/good at all skill then thats gonna take long time and with low improvement compare to a person who is going by taking a main skill.
You should be good at streams and jumps because they are fundamental and you will find them in most maps but trying to get balanced/good at Tech, slider, fingercontrol etc will just make you slow down
example- Imagine you have 2 hours to play everyday and if you gonna spend those 2hours into 4 games then you can play 1 game for 30min.
But if you have 2 games to play in 2 hours then you can play 1 game for 1hours
hence, faster improvement

I also disagree with it being wasteful because imo it will be very helpful in future when you become better

If you spend that 1 hour fruitlessly trying to spam farm maps as opposed to, say, spending 20 minutes each on skill you don't have a high skill level on, it's just as wasteful.
