Well if you want to get more specific is that the QAT has an entirely homogenized opinion about how to do things, that really don't seem to be in correlation with the majority of viewpoints held by the current mapping community. Add in the fact that the last new osu!standard QAT was added about 10 months ago (and is now no longer a part of the team), there really is no new voices that can really give a broader understanding of the viewpoints of the current team.
It's an apparent issue back when the BN team was being worked with. QAT that were active would say "oh well this worked fine for me" or like "i don't see any problems" but it's because there isn't a consistent stream of people who have been a part of a newly acting system and understand the problems present in it.
Out of the
SIX QAT that we have in osu!standard, it's pretty much like
Bakari's heart is in the right place but he often times tries too hard to be the "advocating for a better standard of easier diffs" thing and ends up saying some really stupid shit.

Tari is a cunt and has more of an ego than an autistic Magic the Gathering player.
and all of these guys have kinda turned into yesmen to Loctav. Which, is important in creating an effective team, to have a general understanding of what the game considered "the standard", but what happens when it gets too homogenized is that there really is no room for debate. Which is unfortunate because I feel like many people currently on the BN would be great QATs and would be able to provide fresh and new opinions, but it's almost as if people have just kinda stopped giving a shit about the QAT team and kind of accepted that it's a failed concept without putting any real public effort into making it better.
I've pretty much stopped giving a shit at this point because I've accepted that there's nothing I can do to really get anything done, as well as the fact that school and irl shit are taking up way more of my time, but meh.
(and before this turns into "CDFA hates the QAT", I'm mutual with all of the QAT except Tari (who yeah I do actually hate lmao) and consider myself decently close friends to them lol)
