实话说我感觉你这音效真是下的不怎么样。。。虽然你是说trying to use drum sound但是其实你现在这样跟把soft-hitnormal换个文件没什么太大区别。尤其那段没大鼓的还全加大鼓音。这歌鼓点多你现在这样勉强还算可以,换个只有o x o x你这么下就难听死,真想下还是认真听。。随便糊弄的话还不如加点默认whistle。不过当然你觉得你就这样就挺好那我也不多说啥,一个人一种心理。顺带一说有镲的时候基本都有大鼓,也就是你finish加了的话基本都要加whistle,kiai段基本都落下了
说重了的话别在意 也不是强迫你改

  2. 00:16:400 (3,4,5,6) - Unintuitive rhythm imo. It's not following the music very well. The 1/4 jumps are difficult to understand. I recommend replace the 3 with a circle and then add 1/4 sliders at 00:16:619 and 00:16:838.
  3. 00:40:487 - Why do you increase volume here? The music becomes more quiet. All I can hear is that bass hit hitsound in this section, I can't hear the music. Try 40% volume here instead. Then increase it again at 00:54:502.
  4. 00:45:086 (4,5) - Try Ctrl+G here. It'll flow a little nicer into the triplet 1. Here's the idea:
  5. 00:54:502 (1,1) - I'd like it if you would unstack these since the music changes so much on the 00:54:502 (1). Try flipping these over the axis like so:

    You could even move each further into their respective corners to increase spacing which might be nice.
  6. 00:59:100 (6,7,8,9,1) - Example of messy placement here. Why not make nice blankets instead of overlapping them? Here's an example you could try:
  7. 01:03:480 (7,8) - Messy placements. :< You overlap the same area again and it disrupts the flow of your map. Also try to fill out the rhythm here with more drums. Try a triplet at 01:03:480 and a 1/2 slider at 01:03:699.

  8. Placement suggestion here on the 01:03:042 (6). Have it flow into the 01:02:276 (2,3,4) blanket pointed at the triplet at 01:03:480.

    It's just an example of the type of things you could try that would fit well for this mapset since you use so many streams like that.
  9. 01:05:779 (8,1) - Similar idea to 00:16:400 (3,4,5,6). It's very unintuitive to play when these 1/4 sliders are starting on the blue tick. I suggest that you change all patterns like this so that the sliders are on the white tick. It will play more intuitively with the drums. You can replace the 01:05:451 (7) with a circle and move the 1/4 sliders left like so:

    Or here's another example of a rhythm you can try:
    I recommend changing all patterns where you have 1/4 sliders on the blue ticks like:

    If you place your 1/4 sliders on the white and red tick like this, you can add your hitsounds and follow the drums, and make all sorts of fun jumps and interesting placements while it still being intuitive to play.
  10. 01:24:064 (1,2) - Reverse NC makes more sense to me to show the jump.
  11. Some combo inconsistencies in the first bit of the kiai. If you're following drums, here are my suggestions:
    NC's
    1. 00:59:976 (8) - NC and remove the one on 01:00:195 (1). Consistent with 01:13:334 (5,1).
    2. 01:01:290 (8) - NC and remove the one on 01:01:947 (1). Consistent with 01:15:305 (1,2,3).
    3. 01:03:480 (7) - NC and remove the one on 01:04:027 (1).
    4. 01:04:794 (6) - NC and remove the one at 01:05:998 (1). Consistent with 01:18:809 (1).
My main complaint with this map are your rhythms. Lots of the times you create awkward rhythms with 1/4 sliders placed on the blue tick. Also I think you could work on your placements, they get quite sloppy at times. I gave a few examples.

[Rain]

  1. 00:28:444 - The gap is kind of breaking flow imo. I'd prefer that you add a note to make a nice triplet. That or an increased spacing might work.
  2. 00:40:487 - Same as Insane, I recommend less volume. Try 40%
  3. 01:03:699 (2,3,4,1) - Try it with no overlaps and with the 01:05:013 (1) more at the edge of the circle flow. The way you have it now, flow is broken with the 01:05:013 (1) being so overlapped imo. Try this, I think it might play nicer:
  4. 01:11:582 (1) - I'd prefer that you unstack it. I realize you're trying to reflect the Insane diff here but I think it's annoying for hard players to read when you stack it underneath the last note of a stream. You could blanket it with the stream instead:

  1. 00:26:035 (3,1) - A bit nazi, try to move the 3 more up. It will have a nicer effect:

  4. 00:50:998 (1,2) - Minor thing here too. Try to get the 2 in a blanket with the 00:50:122 (4) as well as the 1. Here's the idea:
  5. 00:53:626 (2,3,1) - I'd prefer that you stack the 3 on the 2 instead of the 1. That way we'd have movement to the 1 when the symbols crash. It will feel nicer imo.
  6. 01:23:626 (3,4) - Try replacing with a 1/2 slider to reduce some difficulty here.
[Az's Grayfish]

  1. Imo your NC's are too frequent in this map. I think it's nice in an Easy when the combos go past at least 3. Lots of your combos are only 2 hits long because you NC every downbeat. Consider removing some like 00:14:210 (1) and 00:17:714 (1) and so on and so forth consistently.
  2. 00:34:356 (3,4,5) - Try to even the spacing out a bit here, it was very confusing in play. I figure it might be a mistake.
  3. 00:38:517 (3,4) - I don't like this rhythm here since the music crashes and holds on the 3 but we continue on and hit the 4 before holding. I'd like it if you could delete the 3 and move the slider to that red tick. Consider this rhythm here:
  4. 00:40:487 - Same suggestion as other diffs. I feel the hitsounds are too loud here. Try 40%.
Cool map. I'd say get a few more mods and work on some rhythms and placements in the Rain diff and it'll be on it's way. I'll leave my star here for now.

  2. You may or may not want to use a widescreen background image - just saying you could if you wanted to (16:9); the resolution for that would be 1366x768 px.
  3. Remove "ED" from tags, as it's too short to be considered by the osu! beatmap search metric.
  4. While this may or may not be "viable", I feel like the sliderticks are... disrupting the melody here, as they just feel a bit too sharpish and bleh in the soft-sampleset; mind lowering their volume/using customs?

[Az's Grayish]

  1. I think the difficulty name should be Az' Grayish, without an s, as z is already an s-ish letter and so forths - just a matter of genitive, but looks better that way.
  2. You could really use a custom clap that is just your hitclap; you have quite a few sliders throughout your map that skip over the clap-accentuated beat and therefore, this would really help keeping your soundpattern consistent (if you wanted to be weird like me, you could even do one yourself that combines hitnormal and hitclap, just for being very precise and suchs).
00:01:574 (1) - add an NC here - not sure about whether osu! treats it properly if you don't, so it may matter for HP recovery
00:07:113 (1) - consider lowering the volume here, as the background melody that you are focussing on is fading away in the music and therefore, your hitsounds feel too loud and unflexible here (also, why is this spaced 1.15x and not 1.3x as the rest?)
00:08:959 - you should move the break's start to here, that'll feel better, simply because the "fade-out" effect will be spot-on with the section and BPM change then
00:29:976 (1,2,3) - I'm not particularly in favor of this triangle here; just the angle at which you turn to 3 and the way it is shaped are conflicting from what I feel - have an example of what I think feels more balanced below

Consider disabling gridsnap as it is very apparent on your stream spacing that feels somewhat uneven due to being... well, snapped towards the grids, resulting in unbalanced curves and spacing that varies by ~0.02 to ~0.07 or smth; call me a nazi, but really, I noticed that and it felt off to me. (Also, your circle curves are somewhat uneven due to that, please try to make them more balanced-bowy, rather than "bowed line"-y, if you get me)
  2. You have a lot of the before mentioned sliders that have issues with active and passive hitsounding here, please have a look at them and correct this, because currently, it's just wrong. (Look at the end of this post for a definition for active-passive hitsounding, if you don't know what I mean)
00:01:574 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1) - the spacing here really feels weird and random, switching between different distance snaps all the time... make this move consistent

Generally, this whole part feels too far-spaced and strongly mapped for such a calm bit of the song...

00:54:940 (1,2,3,4) - this is an 1-2-1-2-1-2 soundpattern, but you map it like 1-2-1-1-2-1, which is wrong; just make it all sliders starting on white or make it all circles, but there should definitely be clicks on white - clicks, not hitsounds.
00:59:100 (6,7) - we had this in the diff before already; same thing for all the other redtick sliders
01:05:779 (8,1) - these sliders are especially bad to play and wrong in rhythm, as not only do they start on a weaker beat than they end on, but it is a blue tick, which means it's the most unlikely to feel natural, considering that it's the ones with the weakest beats in the song in general; change this, really.
01:07:422 (2,3,4) - this 1/4 spacing really doesn't go well with the song; it's calm and fluid, not snappy and power-bambam
01:12:787 (3,4) - same as 01:05:779
01:19:794 (5,6,7) - these 1/4 jumps are a big no to me
01:21:546 (3) - replace this with two circles; the claps are emphasizing the music, but your map is not, as there should be a strong object (-> hit, circle, sliderstart) on each of them
01:26:035 (1) - Why not replace this with a circle + spinner, feels better


So yeah... I have issues with this, specifically your higher difficulties - the lower ones are absolutely fine for the most part, but you have rhythmical issues here, and really, it's apparent and feels off and really just makes me not want to play the maps, and that's... something you don't want to achieve, I guess - it's not too hard to fix and you can be done with that in 15 to 30 minutes, so please, just really do it; saying this as a player and mapper, more than as a "technical modder" or something, because you're mapping for players in the end, and for the song that you chose, so you should give it your best, especially if it's stupid issues like this that really don't have to exist.




Active/Passive Hitsounding
Active Hitsounding refers to hitsounds that you actually take an active part in (-> click), therefore, this refers to circles and sliderstarts; active hitsounds generate pressure behind the notes played and therefore should predominantly be set on already existing beats (or extremely natural-feeling additive mapping, but that's a rare exception).

Passive Hitsounding refers to hitsounds that occur without you actively participating (-> hitting) on them, such as sliderticks, reverse arrows, slider- or spinnerends; these do not generate pressure in playing and therefore should be feeling natural when silenced to emphasize longer/stronger notes in the music.



Take this example: You see, we have two sliders, 1/2 each - this will just sound like 4*1/2 hitnormal but effectively, it's played as 2*1/1, so you have to consider, when does it fit? Given that you only click the starts of the sliders, it could fit when the white ticks are (significantly) stronger than the red ones, resulting in a 1-(2)-1-(2) rhythm (1 = active, strong beat, (2) = passive, weak beat/no beat).

To visualize it better, you may draw a line under every active hitsound and leave the passive ones empty:



tl;dr: An active hitsound is when you click and there comes a sound, a passive one is when the object just makes a sound "by itself"/without an impact (-> click) required - keep this in mind, because passive are effectively weaker than active ones even when they "sound the same".

Rhythm: Was totally okay in the kiai, but i've discovered a lot of 'mistakes' in the parts before (about this strong ticks issue), which you should definetly consider to be fixed.
Placing / Spacing: It would be nice if you could recheck your whole map for the spacing jumps (they go from 1.25 to 1.34 sometimes, which is not recommended in easy, it should be consistent, for the tidy-looking's sake) But the idea and flow is okay.
