Post anything about Ouendan and EBA!

My favorite song in Ouendan 2 is Music Hour. EBA is Skater Boi (or something like that)
Ezzpify
My favourite:

EBA : You're the inspiration
Ouendan 1: Ready Steady Go!
Ouendan 2: Music Hour :) , Zoku

Overall, Ready Steady Go! is my most favourite.
What a driving song!
DCtc
My favorites are:

EBA: September
Ouendan: Melissa
O2: Music Hour
BlueSoda4U
EBA - Without a Fight

Ouendan1- Ready Steady Go!

Ouendan2- Monkey Magic

Melissa isn't in Ouendan...
anyway mine are:
EBA: September
Ouendan: Ready Steady Go (I don't like the original version, but the Ouendan version is amazing)
Ouendan 2: Sekai wa Sore wo Ai to Yabundaze
K2J
This is just a shot in the dark, but does anyone know where the soundtrack rip for EBA is? I really liked some of the covers, and a certain YouTube user referenced having MP3s for them. I don't really want to bother him if it's common knowledge, so does anyone have the files?

Here you go.

It's got all the songs from Ouendan and Ouendan 2 as well as the EBA songs, so it'll take a while to download.

Thanks a lot!

Umm, ;D

Eba:Jumping jack flash-Awesome song :D

Ouendan: Ready Steady Go!-The best song ever for ouendan (my opinion)

Ouendan 2: Countdown-Only Because I love Hyde ; D
Boxed_Slug
My favorites...
Ouendan: Thrill
EBA: September
Ouendan 2: Vista or Sekai wa Sore wo Ai to Yobundaze
Homestarrunner
Ouendan : EASILT Atsuki Kodou No Hate, or Koi no Dance Site
Ouendan 2: Music Hour, Zoku, or Julia Ni Shousin
EBA: Hmmmmmm, this is a hard one, i just hate all the songs....... Survivor
Nocky_old
Ouendan 1: Taiyou Ga Moeteiru, or Taisetsuna Mono.

Ouendan 2: Samurai Blue, Sekai Wa Sore Wo Ai To Yubun Daze, Bambina, Glamorous Sky, Real Life Real Heart... a lot of the soundtrack, actually.

EBA: September, Jumpin' Jack Flash. Oh, and I Was Born To Love You. The original tracks for Let's Dance and Highway Star are good, too.

So I was playing Ouendan2 a couple nights ago, and it might have been due to the fact that I was on Insane/Hidden on SSAY, but Ouendan maps are sure as hell a lot less coherent than Osu! maps - the timing near the end of the song seemed terribly unpredictable to me and the overlapping notes made me start guessing and hoping for the best. But maybe I've gone soft, as we push pretty hard to have Osu! beatmaps consistant, coherent, and reasonably predictable so as to avoid a player's confusion and ANGERRRRRR.

gawddamnit I had one of those score-cap runs going and I died
Nocky_old
Well, I tend to use Ouendan/EBA beatmaps as my guide to beatmapping, as well as the number of ones I downloaded off this site.

They probably did it to throw off the player, as it did you. You probably need some sort of memory as to when the overlapping beats appear, especially on Hidden mode.
If they just let the last song be stale, it wouldn't be that interesting to play, would it? (Note: Still hate those quick double-taps at the last chorus.)

There are some good songs in EBA, I'll admit some like Lala and Walkie Talkie Man aren't my cup of tea but others like September (a cool classic song), YMCA (if you hate this, then your just muh) and Jumpin' Jack Flash (a better final music than Ouendan final song's).

But as for my favourites:

EBA: Makes No Differences
Ouendan 1: Over The Distance
Ouendan 2: MONKEY MAGIC

You can post tips in here.
Here's a big tip too all ouendan players:

LISTEN TO THE MUSIC! It helps alot... Serious

Even the distance is important... (usually)
Nocky_old
Yeah, the music really helps. Noted incident: Shounen Heart in Ouendan 2. On the final part, the beat guide splits between the lyrics and the accompaniment. Kept screwing up there, until, "Hey, it follows the catchy big band kicks!"

I'd call that the purpose of a rhythm game, not a tip =|

tbqh if anyone plays ouendan/eba/any rhythm game without listening closely to the music they should not be playing a rhythm game.

I've seen people playing rhythm games without music on... a--> They sucked b--> Why bother playing a rhythm game with music!?!

I noticed that, on easy levels, Taiko no Tatsujin DS is just as easy without music. Just a test of reflexes. Not fun, though, so why bother?

I really should videotape my Ouendan plays...

My high score for Ready Steady Go on Insane stands at 6004250 =D Full combo, but I'm not sure how many 300 and 100s I got.

My closest to a full 300 play was Insane + Hidden on Glamorous Sky, full 300s except for 4 of them... So clooose...

I noticed that to
XSarustaX
Songs in one go? Pretty much all of them, but I generally restart the song as soon as I miss a beat, since I aim for full combos.

The second Ouendan has worse turned out. J-rock became very little. But also in it there are interesting songs.
Favourite tracks
EBA - Highway Star, Jumping Jack Flash, Makes No Difference
Moero Neketsu - I do not know as they refer to, about the barber and mechanics.
Ouendan - Kokoro Odoru and that, about cops)

Второй Оэндан хуже получился. J-рока совсем мало стало. Но и в нем есть интересные песни.
Любимые треки
EBA - Highway Star, Jumping Jack Flash, Makes No Difference
Moero Neketsu - не знаю как они называются, про цирюльника и механиков.
Ouendan - Kokoro Odoru и та, что про копов)

I can't beat Ready Steady Go on Insane. No matter what. ;__;
[deleted user]
RSG on insane is I find a lot harder than it is on hard. I can't S rank it...
It also reminds me that I just can't do SSAY on hard and hidden while I can easily S rank it on insane and hidden.

If it's so easy, what's the loss? Just play 'em over again.

This topic has deviated from Ouendan talk!
To whoever cares my High Score on RSG Hard is 6,153,610 (All 300's + an average of 12k per Spinner)
and my total score for Ouendan 2 is 181,149,504 Every song Perfect'd on Hidden, but I have about 3 that aren't S-Ranked.
I'd post my Ouendan 1 Total but I have part of my high scores on a ROM and part on a hard copy.
So everyone: Post your best accomplishment and total scores for both games.

I just downloaded Taiko no Tatsujin DS, and managed to beat every single song on the hardest difficulty without even getting frustrated(Except for that 8-star song. ;_;). The game is too easy. >:[

EBA... for the Wii!

I think it'd be easy to make, you get to move the cursor and press B at the right time, which can be enhanced by standing up and doing dance moves as well, provided the cursor's in the right place. Phrase markers? Easy! Hold B and wave! Now there's an exercise game!

Also turning your Mii into an agent.

On further reflection, it wouldn't half make your finger hurt.

Oh, and when you get to a spinner, you could shake the Wiimote to clear it. And when you get to a pause section, you could shake the Wiimote for bonus points! You could even shake it while the Wii is off!! :0
Yes, I hate waggling. :/

No. I no like shaking.:x If Nintendo had some stupid idea to do that, I'd sue.

Maybe if they didn't have spinners... any ideas?

Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy both involved pointless shaking. Really, it's like the DS all over again(Devs randomly using the microphone simply because it's there), the accelerometers are only good for slow, precise movements, yet they force waggle onto games.
awp
Waggling works in Resident Evil when a zombie is attacking you and you're trying to shake the bastard off.

My favorite song on EBA is pretty much Jumping Jack Flash. Too bad I can't get any of the Ouendan games... :(
Are the games good perhaps? I would really like to play it if I knew how to import items from different countries.

http://www.yesasia.com/us/en/home.html Free worldwide shipping, and reasonable prices. I got Ouendan 1 and 2 from them. Both are great games if you liked EBA, and the language barrier is no problem because the gameplay is exactly the same and the menus are very simple.

Thanks! I just hope I will be able to know how to order stuff from it...My mom always says that her credit card is always maxed out and everything, and I don't have a credit card or paypal. :?

Yes... :?

I'm so excited :D, I finally purchased Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 from YesAsia.
They estimated it will arrive the 31st even though I payed for shipping instead of getting the free shipping so it would arrive faster >:(

I can't wait, I got Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan back around when it first came out, took a long time to beat on easy, then just recently I've almost beat it again on normal, hopefully I can beat it on normal before Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 arrives XD.

Maybe some day I'll get Elite Beat Agents, I saw a video of the last song and that it was a country song and that almost everyone was blond or had a cowboy hat worries me.
