Post anything about Ouendan and EBA!
My favorite song in Ouendan 2 is Music Hour. EBA is Skater Boi (or something like that)

This is just a shot in the dark, but does anyone know where the soundtrack rip for EBA is? I really liked some of the covers, and a certain YouTube user referenced having MP3s for them. I don't really want to bother him if it's common knowledge, so does anyone have the files?
There are some good songs in EBA, I'll admit some like Lala and Walkie Talkie Man aren't my cup of tea but others like September (a cool classic song), YMCA (if you hate this, then your just muh) and Jumpin' Jack Flash (a better final music than Ouendan final song's).Homestarrunner wrote:

I'd call that the purpose of a rhythm game, not a tip =|shinn wrote:

tbqh if anyone plays ouendan/eba/any rhythm game without listening closely to the music they should not be playing a rhythm game.
I noticed that toLuigiHann wrote:
I noticed that, on easy levels, Taiko no Tatsujin DS is just as easy without music. Just a test of reflexes. Not fun, though, so why bother?
If it's so easy, what's the loss? Just play 'em over again.Loginer wrote:

Oh, and when you get to a spinner, you could shake the Wiimote to clear it. And when you get to a pause section, you could shake the Wiimote for bonus points! You could even shake it while the Wii is off!! :0
Yes, I hate waggling. :/
Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy both involved pointless shaking. Really, it's like the DS all over again(Devs randomly using the microphone simply because it's there), the accelerometers are only good for slow, precise movements, yet they force waggle onto games.IplayEBA wrote:

No. I no like shaking. If Nintendo had some stupid idea to do that, I'd sue.
Maybe if they didn't have spinners... any ideas?
http://www.yesasia.com/us/en/home.html Free worldwide shipping, and reasonable prices. I got Ouendan 1 and 2 from them. Both are great games if you liked EBA, and the language barrier is no problem because the gameplay is exactly the same and the menus are very simple.HyperHongMeiling wrote:
My favorite song on EBA is pretty much Jumping Jack Flash. Too bad I can't get any of the Ouendan games...![]()
Are the games good perhaps? I would really like to play it if I knew how to import items from different countries.
Yes...LuigiHann wrote:
Stickying this thread so nobody overlooks it again.
It's not really that it worries me about the game being good, what worries me is if thats really what iNiS thinks western people are like...Or what appeals to them.LuigiHann wrote:
You can find EBA at really reasonable prices at Wal-mart or Target. Keep an eye out for it.Jeshi wrote:
Maybe some day I'll get Elite Beat Agents, I saw a video of the last song and that it was a country song and that almost everyone was blond or had a cowboy hat worries me.
There are no "country" songs in EBA. The last song, Jumpin' Jack Flash, is a cover of a Rolling Stones song. The cover has a bit of a "Southern Rock" edge, I guess, but nothing that remotely borders on country music. Plenty of mediocre pop and "classic" rock, but the real fun is in the scenarios, not the soundtrack.
I just thought Ouendan had lots of cliche'sLuigiHann wrote:
The guy who runs iNiS and designed EBA and Ouendan, while Japanese, speaks fluent English and went to school in the U.S., so I think he has a reasonable perspective. That said, pretty much everything in EBA is a parody of American cliches, in the same way that you'll find Ouendan is a parody of Japanese cliches.

I really have no intention of beating Hard on Ouendan 1, I already know after hard comes insane which has cheerleaders.
So once I beat it on Normal I'm set for Ouendan 1 not including replaying it for fun.
Still excited for Ouendan 2 arriving, it has 18 songs plus 3 bonus songs compare that to Ouendan 1 with 15 songs and 0 bonus songs!
I don't think there's a hard rock in Ouendan one...awp wrote:
I found hard relatively easy to FC throughout, but Hard Rock was a bitch - especially sliders that didn't snake soon enough.
Wow, she must have played that song so many times, she started spinning before I was even expecting a spinner let alone saw one.YoshiKart wrote:

It's the lyrics of sk8er boi I find to be the most revolting aspect of it. Not hating it is kind of like implying that such drivel is "okay" and that's not the message I'd like society to accept.LuigiHann wrote:
I think La La, at least the cover they use in EBA, sounds like an 80s song, and as such I don't mind it. Skater Boy is lame and generic, but not appalling. I don't see where all the hate for mediocre music comes from. Sure, it's not as good as good music, but it's not as bad as bad music.
