Ive been getting into skinning recently and I am trying to skin the menu for the first time, but the top of my menu is completely messed up, neither the mode-x-small or mode-selection have it so im very confused

Ive been getting into skinning recently and I am trying to skin the menu for the first time, but the top of my menu is completely messed up, neither the mode-x-small or mode-selection have it so im very confused
Any help would be appreciated
since it seems to cover up the sort and group text, it must be one of the four selection- files.
For further solutions I would need to see the skin files. It may also be worth it to give this a quick read https://skinship.xyz/tutorial/song_selection

Yea ok, I found the problem. You used selection-mode and mode-osu-small wrongly. Selection-mode should just have a black shape as shown in the tutorial I linked, while all of the actual content should be on mode-osu-small
