Hello ~

[General]
Pls check aimod.. there's some incosistent between your diff yep...

[Easy]
Many unnecessary Green Line.. why not delete it ? you don't even need a green line at break time. lazy to do it since when i create a new diff, i use the higher diff's settings to save time for green line works...
01:16:259 (3) - Change to curved ? IMO overlap it's too difficult for beginners to read it's just a bit...
02:05:159 (4) - move to left a little bit.. maybe ? changed.

[Normal]
The SV is so fast.. ugh same green line as easy
I feel this normal it's too hard.. maybe like a soft hard diff, many jumps and overlap seems too hard to read for beginners :(
01:10:559 (3,4,1) - This part it's really tricky for beginners.. rearrange (3) so it's not overlap with (1) ? no change for now.

[Rin]
00:43:709 (3) - Ctrl H ? better pattern IMO ehh dunno...

Really awesome mapset, sorry if it poor =w=
will add other mod checks later...

  1. 01:02:459 (3) - I'd like you to make this note stand out more because this is an transition note, (basically this note leads to the following new rhythm) , possibly try this : http://puu.sh/4x4XT.jpg get your point. my opinion is the slider is quite short itself, a curve is not really good looking here
  2. 01:59:459 (2) - ^ try not to make ???
  3. 01:38:459 (3) - I think you miss whistle, its to follow 01:33:659 (3) - intentional.
  4. 01:46:259 (1) - For the start of this slider, I'd prefer if you change sampleset to soft and add a finish. It sounds nice. good
  5. 01:51:059 (1) - Same for here, I don't understand why you don't add finishes to stuff like these. added. it's probably because i don't like finishes, and sometimes i'll miss
  6. 02:01:859 (2) - Intended? because you don't add whistle in slider end to here in previous kiai o3o because i have an extra 02:02:759 (3) - here
  7. 02:09:059 (2) - Could move this to the more left, there close to an overlap. should be ok now,.
[Normal]

  1. 00:15:051 (3) - Add clap? feels so empty here. great.
  2. 00:16:859 (2) - ^
  3. 00:18:659 (3) - ^
  4. 00:20:459 (2) - ^
  5. 00:35:759 (4) - Maybe on purpose, but whistle on the end of this slider is needed? nvm I understand.
  6. 01:01:559 (2,3,4) - Maybe they should form a perfect triangle when slider end and note line up. get. personally i prefer current placement.
  7. 01:12:359 (2,1) - Little nazi, but this map is so awesome. how about move them so they look like this : http://puu.sh/4x5M3.jpg changed.
  8. 01:22:259 (2) - I don't know if you like this idea, but might want to add NC to make the pause more readable, compared to 01:12:359 (2) - or you can add new combo to both. added
  9. 01:33:059 (1) - Add whistle? there a whistle added here in easy, so I think you should be consistent. the difference is i have 01:31:859 (2)'s end 1/1 earlier than it, so i think don't need to get 2 whistles together.
  10. 01:37:859 (1) - ^ ^
  11. 01:47:159 (2) - Same as previous this little nazi too, but how about position it so it stacks? like this : http://puu.sh/4x60w.jpg done.
  12. 01:54:659 (3) - Not sure, but I like the way finish sounds to start. great.
  13. 02:23:459 (1) - Nice surprise note, but not problem xD
  14. 02:29:459 (1,2) - I'd prefer you use slider here instead? just for more varied rhythm. to keep consistent of 02:30:659 (1,2,3), in this part i think click more is important (due to the bass sound getting more obvious)
[Rin]

  1. 00:15:051 (4) - Like other diffs, how about add clap/whistle good.
  2. 00:16:859 (4) - ^
  3. 00:18:659 (4) - ^
  4. 00:33:359 (1,2,3,4,1) - How about curve this more? its so close to offscreen orz i changed the previous notes a bit so should be fine now.
  5. 00:35:759 (6) - I'm just fixing your stacking issues as we go along :P anyways, move this to x: 122 y:35 okok ww
  6. 00:38:159 (8) - I'd rather you blanket this note, to match previous pattern. http://puu.sh/4x6se.jpg
  7. 00:42:884 (1) - Uhh maybe add new combo to match with : 00:33:359 (1) - i care the next pattern more so it's more like something inbetween.
  8. 01:40:259 (1,2,3,4) - Uhhhhhh maybe a little boring to see same rhythm and pattern repeat twice? but If you can't think of others thats okay. in fact there's still a small difference: the previous group go down, this one is up, match the bass sound.
  9. 01:54:659 (1,2,3,4) - Orz, can you try something else, this rhythm you use is not so common and the spacing makes it hard to read orz. and there are beats in red tick you can put notes on. this part is exactly following the vocal so i guess won't change.
  10. 02:04:859 (1) - Little inconsistent with 01:07:259 (4) - you know. ahh my bad.
  11. 02:14:459 (1) - ^ but with 01:16:859 (4) - sure.
  12. 02:29:159 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - I think you should use different pattern for these, to distinguish them from 02:07:559 (1,2,3) - you know. but I really think you should change this 02:29:759 (1,2) - into sliders, its different rhythm from 02:29:159 (1,2) - isn't it differnt now..?

    great mods. i like them.

  • Check AImod some problems in the diffs did.

Rin:
  1. some objets are unsnapped here too should be fine now.
  2. 00:28:259 stack this one with previous 00:27:059 (1,2,3) - perfect kinda nazi but is better if all is perfect not sure what you mean... this is kinda different...
  3. 01:01:859 (2,3) - When i test this diff this jump was not natural to play why you dont try this play more natural for me: ...???
  4. really great diff fun for play

Normal:
  1. some objets are unsnapped here too
  2. I prefer if you lower the OD by 1 tick here May consider this later.
  3. 00:14:406 (1,2,3,4) - fic the distance or is on purpose? it's because the tiny timing difference.
  4. 00:22:559 (2,3) - same here
  5. 00:27:959 (3,4,5,6) - this feel kinda hard and confuse for a normal but is my opinion is better if you remove son circles there imo maybe
  6. 00:36:059 you forget a whistle here nah, consistent with 00:31:259 (1) -
  7. 00:50:759 (2,1) - fic the distance here changed a bit.
  8. 01:16:259 (1,2) - this is really confuse for a normal diff use a properly distance here plz it's just a 1/2 nothing more than that.
  9. 01:42:659 (3,4) - I preffer if you stack this perfect here too personally i think stack 1/2 would be harder for normal players.
  10. 02:27:659 (5,6,1) - idk things like this are kinda difficult for a normal diff use a properly distanc ehere imo

easy:
  1. some objets are unsnapped here too
  2. OD and HP -1 for better diff spread imo
  3. nothing else to complain

Nice mapset o3o

Rin

00:47:459 (4) - delete clap on end and add it 00:47:759 (5) - on this end feels much better for me done.
02:32:159 (2,5) - missing claps are purposed? missed...
01:48:659 (1) - add NC:1 finish on start with higher volume? (oh and set soft sampleset and normal addtions ofc) ehhh no..
01:59:909 (5,6) - hmm i thought about it many times so, how about roate 15°? like this http://puu.sh/4x9Hl.jpg , i may understand what you tried to express, and this maybe help for it -bit nazi ok.

Tick rate 2 fits this song best

[Easy]
00:33:659 (1,2,3) - I'm kind of wary of the flow here since this is an Easy diff. Going back after the launch from the repeat slider feels a bit odd after 00:28:859 (1,2) - and the rest of your instances of this rhythm seem to have not nearly as much of a cut backwards.
00:55:259 (1,1) - This overlap is pretty ugly :x
01:07:859 (1,1,1,1,1) - Yeah, everyone does the new combo spam here across the maps, but it feels too frequent with the number of hit objects. It'd look a lot better in sets of twos.
01:17:459 (1,1,1,1,1) - etc. won't bother pointing the rest out
02:38:459 - Not ending with the rest of the maps?

..well I started at least.

I'm really perplexed over the timing at the start. Why that mass of red lines?

Anyway, I'll continue later when I can.

Edit:

[Normal]
00:27:959 (3,4,5,6,1) - This looks pretty intimidating for a Normal. It's that really low AR I'm thinking (feels way slow compared to the slider speed, but the distance snap speed is super-low so it's kind of unbalanced-feeling.)
01:40:259 (1) - The only thing I can hear on this is the slider tick q:
01:44:459 (2,3) - This might be a bit tough for a Normal difficulty. Try to avoid stacking under slider ends - especially when you're using a different rhythm that's not even in the song.
01:55:559 (1,1,1,1,1) - Strange that you do the new combo spam here but not during the kiai parts that are the same.
02:23:459 (1,1) - This is pretty iffy for a Normal too. It'd probably read a lot better if you only set a circle at 02:24:959 - instead of having a slider at 02:24:659 (1) - .
02:27:659 (5,6,1) - And again with the weird 1/2 spacing. I recommend against it - when you have the same rhythm but different spacing in the next pattern at 02:29:159 (4,1) -
02:33:059 (1,1) - Same thing as before
02:35:159 (3,4,1) - And the 1/2 spacing changes. This is a Normal!

[Hard]
00:27:959 (4,1) - This jump doesn't read very well. Have the curve of the slider move towards the 1. Maybe also make the jump less intense.
01:21:059 (1,2) - Kind of a weird spot for a jump. If you made it more similar to what you did with 01:11:459 (1,2) - it would read and play a lot better.
01:27:059 (1) - This slowdown plays poorly. Breaks the pacing you've had up to this point.
01:30:809 (2,3,1,2) - This jump into ridiculously slow velocity is also pretty bad pacing. I'd have larger spacing between 01:31:559 (1,2) - so you don't have the identical spacing from the previous combos and it transitions better to this slow part. (I also disagree with slowing down to such a drastic amount, but eh)
01:52:259 (3) - Wrong rhythm
02:04:259 (1) - Slider track is audible
02:36:659 (1) - Wow this feels so badly placed. I guess you wanted to put a spinner somewhere, but it really breaks your pacing.
Eh, overall this map felt like it was trying too hard to suppress itself from being a low-level Insane. It's quite a big jump up from the Normal in difficulty as well.

I'll continue later. Not sure where to start since there are 3 insanes? Shouldn't one of these be an extra as well?

Edit 2:

[Nouk]
00:45:359 (1) - This would flow better if the kink was made earlier. Right now it's a big stab against your previous curved flow and it feels wrong. 00:46:109 (4,5) - Ctrl + g on these would also help towards the flow
01:25:859 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Erm, why sliders? They are clearly meant to be single notes.
01:31:109 - And after all that following of the piano, missing this beat is a crime.
01:31:559 (1) - Awkward spinner. Map through it or start it at 01:31:859 - so it matches the much better spinner at 01:36:659 (1) -
01:38:459 (2,3) - The rhythm is completely wrong on these. Use 1/2 rhythms to match the music.
01:43:559 (6) - End this at 01:43:659 - and give it a more audible end so that you can feel that it's ending with the drum part
01:46:259 (1,2,3) - Slider. Slider. Circle. What. Use circles for better impact for under-mapping like this.
02:09:059 (1,7,1) - At least line the end of the long slider up with these two stacked notes.
02:23:459 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - These silenced slider ends are just bad. Not only are they completely off rhythm, when they finally do sync up, you keep them silent anyway so it ends up leaving me wondering what exactly you were trying to accomplish with the music. The best part is that you decided to do a different incorrect rhythm than at 01:25:859 (1) -
02:33:059 (1,2,3,4,1,2) - Yay, you've at least demonstrated that you are aware of the rhythm of the song and are capable of mapping it. Why aren't you doing this for the rest of the map though?

To be continued...

[RLQuillab]
00:53:309 (6,1) - This flowed poorly to me. Doubling back on itself compared to the zigzag approach at 00:49:409 (4,5,6,1) - ... I preferred the zigzag honestly.
00:56:759 (5) - These extended sliders with the silenced ends bugged me. The spacing after them is inconsistent and the hitsounding is as well. Referring to points such as 00:53:459 (1,2) - and 00:49:859 (1,2) -
00:59:609 (5,1) - Strange spot for a jump considering the music and pattern.
01:22:109 (3,1) - Uh. Please no. You can't hear it at all, and that tiny amount of time for such a drastic jump with no discernable emphasis in the music that I can tell to justify it makes this feel like it's trying too hard rather than going with the song.
01:27:209 (3,1) - ^ Though at least I could hear it since it was all whistles except for the end of the slider. Which is @#$(&*
01:45:659 (3) - Snap the end of this at 01:46:059 - if you -really- need to hit that beat. It still feels way out of character even when snapped to the right beat, though. A lot of this is probably because there are zero hitsounds going on here. Just the claps makes for a really boring section.
01:48:659 (1) - sliderslide.wav
01:59:459 (1,1) - After all the 1/2 use, and hearing this part enough times in the song, suddenly changing the rhythm on this so that it's not even following the music at all was a pretty poor decision imo.
02:04:259 (1,1,1) - Doubling back under a stack felt really against your general triangle patterns throughout most of the map. Same with repeat later
02:06:509 (3) - I didn't need that combo anyway
02:07:709 (3) - Nor any health
02:19:709 (2,1) - And again with the crazy jump during a transition. I don't get it. At least the sliders here actually worked fine.
02:21:809 - Neeeeeed a noooooote aaaaaaa
02:34:409 (3) - Eh

I really didn't like the stop/go/stop/go nature of this map. Felt like it was busy denying me of any fun the entire ride. q:

[Rin]
01:09:059 (3,1) - This felt waaay too close after the other three sets of jumps.
01:30:659 (1,1,1) - You followed the piano part fairly strongly up until this transition point. The sliders just feel gimmicky rather than a good translation of the phrase though. For example, the last slider at 01:31:259 (1) - In the music, it's more coming to a stop. Everything turns off waiting for the vocal to kick in again. But your' having the player keep moving anyway with this last slider. Just feels wrong against the song.
01:58:859 (2,3,4,5) - I didn't get why you suddenly put jumps in here. Not really anything new in the song to emphasize until 01:59:459 -
02:16:559 (1,2) - Sudden tiny spacing aaaaaa

Pretty fun map here, except for the weird spacing things I pointed out above.

One more to go!

[Yuko]
I... know that you can map better than this now, Yuko. This -is- an 8 month old map. You might want to look through this and see what you can improve on your own applying what you've learned over that large time span. As it stands now, it is mostly a disaster as a map. The flow is broken all over the place along with completely spastic velocity changes with seemingly zero connection with the music. Having me bitch about every other note isn't going to be helpful to anyone.

Edit: @Garven, i'll check after you finish, for the timing, the beginning of the song has an obvious speed change, those hell red lines are to adjust the timing. Sadly i didn't find a better way to do that.

Kind of a major issue in Skystar's diff:
The two red combo colors are wayyyy too similiar, which makes the last kiai even tougher to read.

sad that no more Rin diff name here.. also a gap between Easy and Normal is a bit huge. I think it's because Normal diff is a bit harder.

Normal

I feel this Normal a bit harder but that should be fine!

pieguy's Hard

02:09:959 (1) - a slider under triplet like this might be a bit hard for Hard diff players because they might alternate wrongly and get a miss easily on 02:09:959 (1) -
It would be better if you could unstack between 02:09:659 (5,1) - .

00:45:359 (1) - This would flow better if the kink was made earlier. Right now it's a big stab against your previous curved flow and it feels wrong. Fixed!
00:46:109 (4,5) - Ctrl + g on these would also help towards the flow Fixed!
01:25:859 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Erm, why sliders? They are clearly meant to be single notes. Fixed!
01:31:109 - And after all that following of the piano, missing this beat is a crime. Fixed!
01:31:559 (1) - Awkward spinner. Map through it or start it at 01:31:859 - so it matches the much better spinner at 01:36:659 (1) - Fixed!
01:38:459 (2,3) - The rhythm is completely wrong on these. Use 1/2 rhythms to match the music. Fixed!
01:43:559 (6) - End this at 01:43:659 - and give it a more audible end so that you can feel that it's ending with the drum part I don't get it, leave the way it is
01:46:259 (1,2,3) - Slider. Slider. Circle. What. Use circles for better impact for under-mapping like this. Fixed!
02:09:059 (1,7,1) - At least line the end of the long slider up with these two stacked notes. It is lined up?
02:23:459 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - These silenced slider ends are just bad. Not only are they completely off rhythm, when they finally do sync up, you keep them silent anyway so it ends up leaving me wondering what exactly you were trying to accomplish with the music. The best part is that you decided to do a different incorrect rhythm than at 01:25:859 (1) - Fixed!
02:33:059 (1,2,3,4,1,2) - Yay, you've at least demonstrated that you are aware of the rhythm of the song and are capable of mapping it. Why aren't you doing this for the rest of the map though? Sorry. Fixed all mistakes
thanks Rin for fixing ts8zs's mod. i would do the same as you did lol

Hmm, it seems like that I should explain something here.
I'm honestly confused of why would you say that was a disaster as a map. Like, calling a map is bad but which I don't think it is. The Skystar diff in this mapset was literally one of my best maps, which was told from a majority of people, including Rin for sure or else he would not accept it into the mapset.
In fact, the map was mapped in 2012. I still remember that, I created my own set for this song after getting my first ranked and after looking in Rin's kodoku egoism (which let me know who Rohi is). And after it's finished, I once showed it to Rin for judging the quality like, I was not sure if I did it good or not. Rin had a quick look through it then, and he told me that the map was pretty good and I would be a potential mapper if I could keep mapping things as good as it.
Turn into 2013, Rin created his set for it as well. As I have no time to rank my own set, I just left my diff to Rin as a guest diff as you can see here. Before that, I have done remapping some parts that I thought they're bad and improvable. You can just compare it with my own set and see how they're different from each other.
Hope you can understand it Garven! I'd like to appreciate it if it's the truth, but I really don't see what's bad as you said there.
Besides, due to some reasons, I need to be afk since tomorrow to February, so I think I'm not able to remap the entire map now...
Garven
Perhaps when you return you can take a look and see what I'm talking about, but here's a quick synopsis of the intro: There is almost zero consistency through this, even though the music itself doesn't have any hint of changes to that degree of intensity. You use giant jumps then near-spacing with no musical cue at all and change your rhythm use all over. Stack use is random at best. The flow is spastic in a sense that I have no idea where I should be going. I'm reading circles instead of feeling and enjoying the map. It's not something that I would promote for ranking. Perhaps this did have potential back when it was first submitted, but you've obviously grown beyond it - this is no where near the mapping I saw in SAVIOR OF SONG in terms of enjoyability and playability, so I know you can do better than this.
Zweib
lol This skystar is quite fine for me, idk how it is going to other players though,

I don't think remapping is so necessary. It may be too strict with yuko :o

Hope that it could be ranked soon o/

Tick rate 2 fits this song best

[Easy]
00:33:659 (1,2,3) - I'm kind of wary of the flow here since this is an Easy diff. Going back after the launch from the repeat slider feels a bit odd after 00:28:859 (1,2) - and the rest of your instances of this rhythm seem to have not nearly as much of a cut backwards. it's there because the vocal goes a really high pitch and the other parts are not.
00:55:259 (1,1) - This overlap is pretty ugly :x ehh..?
01:07:859 (1,1,1,1,1) - Yeah, everyone does the new combo spam here across the maps, but it feels too frequent with the number of hit objects. It'd look a lot better in sets of twos. seems fine.
01:17:459 (1,1,1,1,1) - etc. won't bother pointing the rest out ^
02:38:459 - Not ending with the rest of the maps? i think compared to a tough part at the end (as it's an Easy), better to just stop it...

..well I started at least.

I'm really perplexed over the timing at the start. Why that mass of red lines?

Anyway, I'll continue later when I can.

Edit:

[Normal]
00:27:959 (3,4,5,6,1) - This looks pretty intimidating for a Normal. It's that really low AR I'm thinking (feels way slow compared to the slider speed, but the distance snap speed is super-low so it's kind of unbalanced-feeling.) Already fixed in previous mods.
01:40:259 (1) - The only thing I can hear on this is the slider tick q: increased the volume
01:44:459 (2,3) - This might be a bit tough for a Normal difficulty. Try to avoid stacking under slider ends - especially when you're using a different rhythm that's not even in the song. i still think i need that (it's in the song btw...)
01:55:559 (1,1,1,1,1) - Strange that you do the new combo spam here but not during the kiai parts that are the same. the sliders in kiai are in consistent shape/flow so i simply think no new combo will looks better = =
02:23:459 (1,1) - This is pretty iffy for a Normal too. It'd probably read a lot better if you only set a circle at 02:24:959 - instead of having a slider at 02:24:659 (1) - . but wouldn't that be musically incorrect..?
02:27:659 (5,6,1) - And again with the weird 1/2 spacing. I recommend against it - when you have the same rhythm but different spacing in the next pattern at 02:29:159 (4,1) -
02:33:059 (1,1) - Same thing as before
02:35:159 (3,4,1) - And the 1/2 spacing changes. This is a Normal! eh well, in all 1/2 parts with 2 or more circles, i use a close spacing, while when it's slider-circle or slider-slider, the spacing is larger. It's to prevent average player to move too frequently when continuously hitting circles, personally i think it's in fact easier.

[Hard]
00:27:959 (4,1) - This jump doesn't read very well. Have the curve of the slider move towards the 1. Maybe also make the jump less intense. i changed in another way.
01:21:059 (1,2) - Kind of a weird spot for a jump. If you made it more similar to what you did with 01:11:459 (1,2) - it would read and play a lot better. changed.
01:27:059 (1) - This slowdown plays poorly. Breaks the pacing you've had up to this point. i'm fine with that at least..
01:30:809 (2,3,1,2) - This jump into ridiculously slow velocity is also pretty bad pacing. I'd have larger spacing between 01:31:559 (1,2) - so you don't have the identical spacing from the previous combos and it transitions better to this slow part. (I also disagree with slowing down to such a drastic amount, but eh) ok.
01:52:259 (3) - Wrong rhythm from what i understand, pieguy is not trying to follow the vocal (it's all the way 3/2+1/2 in fact.
02:04:259 (1) - Slider track is audible fixed.
02:36:659 (1) - Wow this feels so badly placed. I guess you wanted to put a spinner somewhere, but it really breaks your pacing.
Eh, overall this map felt like it was trying too hard to suppress itself from being a low-level Insane. It's quite a big jump up from the Normal in difficulty as well. dunno..

I'll continue later. Not sure where to start since there are 3 insanes? Shouldn't one of these be an extra as well?

[Rin]
01:09:059 (3,1) - This felt waaay too close after the other three sets of jumps. it should be ok... anyway the main idea is still start a new part.
Just feels wrong against the song. my opinion is there's 3 strong drum sounds, it's in fact more noticable than the piano's stop (as a translation part), also the slider's are in a tiny slow down, it would help players to get in the new part better.
01:58:859 (2,3,4,5) - I didn't get why you suddenly put jumps in here. Not really anything new in the song to emphasize until 01:59:459 - well it's just a way to increase the spacing gradually (i have no really good idea how to do it with common spacing)
02:16:559 (1,2) - Sudden tiny spacing aaaaaa ._.

Pretty fun map here, except for the weird spacing things I pointed out above.
