I am a returning player, and I have over 60,000 beatmaps that require sorting. Sorting by "Date Added," playing through each individual song, and then placing them into folders such as "Tech Maps," "Stream Maps," etc., have been a part of my daily regimen for osu!. As I find myself using the number keys 1,2, and 3 to efficiently sort through songs, I have accidentally deleted my folders containing 10,000+ beatmaps by pressing 1 twice in a row, which deletes them without confirmation. This has happened many times, and re-adding them back to new folders proves to be a rigorous and monotonous task.
By adding a [Lock] option to folders, players would never be able to delete a folder, even if they pressed the the number 1 key twice in a row. They would still be able to add and remove songs within them, completely removing fears of ever losing a folder, whilst maintaining the editability of them.
