Problem details: I couldn't download the game, this never actually happened to my osu ever since 2018-2020 and when I deleted my osu because I need to focus on doing works and now that im freely to play, I tried to redownloading the game but it's stuck downloading for some reason even though my internet is working just fine, I tried updating my .NET Framework, my .NET framework is completely fine and in the latest update, I tried updating the drivers of my GPU, everything is updated, I reinstalled the osu!installer, its still the same, nothing seems to fix the problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Are you getting some sort of error message when trying to download the game or is it just stuck at some specific percentage?

Please post the "update.log" file from your osu!\Logs folder.

I run the installer and as its downloading, its just stuck or sometimes even reset the downloading like its in 80% and then it will return to 0%

In that case, an osu! folder will have been created in the location you are trying to install the game to. By default that is "C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\osu!".

Please go to wherever you are trying to install the game, open the Logs folder inside your osu! folder, and then post the contents of the "update.log" file from there.

It kind of just looks like things are downloading very slowly. Are you able to get your update.log file after the percentage resets possibly?

Getting "stuck" might just mean your internet is very slow, but it shouldn't be resetting to 0 or anything. The log in that case might actually have something more interesting in it.

I quite dont understand the question you were saying Are you able to get your update.log file after the percentage resets possibly?

but i have a decent internet connection tho, around 18ms or 48 mpbs

You mentioned in an earlier post that sometimes the % that indicates how far along the download is will reset back to 0% randomly.

I want to see if you can get your update.log file after that happens, because that's a weird event and it's possible something that could help figure out the issue is being logged when that happens.

Im sorry for the late reply because i had to try again by installing the game again and its this time it didnt show that it repeatedly went back to 0% but rather 40% and began to load and then for how many hours already which im going to edit and show the screenshots of the records on how many percentage when it was downloading but for now i will paste the osu!update.log

EDIT: So by the time of 10:32 i started installing osu again and 14 mins later at 10:53 i checked again my osu! it instead returned to 40% and then i waited again up until 11:55 and checked that my osu was 48% and by the time of 12:00pm i have to sleep because i was feeling tired on doing house chores and woke up at 3:05 and checked my osu! it was 79% only

I don't think I'm allowed to reset our modem not the router since we are not allowed to do such thing in our router or else I will get punished by my parents

You seem to be getting just generic timeout errors.
Restarting everything is your best bet. Maybe ask your parents to do it when nobody is using the internet.

I think its downloading slow, i also have a decent internet and it has finished, its just VERY slow so its ok and probally if it resets to 0% then idk how to fix that
