Ability to "play the notes out". It's much like what we saw in Guitar Hero: World Tour. It would be nice to be able to play the way you want during map editing while being able to place the notes at the same time. Afterwards, you can edit those notes to be more precise.

The thing with guitar hero is that it's much more similar to osu!mania than to osu!standard. This feature exists for taiko and osu!mania mapping.

Live mapping for standard would most likely be nothing but a hassle.

I can imagine being able to do this in test mode. The song plays and you click for a circle, and hold for a slider. It would be cool if the slider design you make follows the movement of the cursor instead of creating multiple points. this feature would be useful in standard edit mode as well.
