Problem with specific "pattern"

So, first off I know that I don't have much play time under my belt and that your first course of action is to tell me to "play more", but at the rate im going it sure isn't doing much for me.

So I'm stuck at around 2.5* 4k maps where there is a ton of double or triple notes and i'm having a problem where there is so much going on with all the doubles and triples coming at me that I just end up spamming my keys.

In the scenario that I can read what is going on I'm not able to tap the double or triples at the same time and it ends up where I'm pressing one key down before the other 1 or 2 keys.

I've tried lowering my scroll speed to see if it would help with seeing the upcoming pattern and also tried using HT to help try and learn to click my double and triples at the same time, but it doesn't do a whole lot for me since its half the speed the track normally is.

Do y'all have any recommendations on what else I can do to try and get pass this bump in the road. I was able to push up to 2.5* without much problem, but my brain and fingers just can't comprehend the constant stream of double and triples notes without fucking everything up.

well as you said, being your play time the answer really is to play more, and the better you get the slower improvement becomes, so you should prolly get used to it.

seeing your scores I can see that you cant actually play 2.5 stars if youre getting around 90% or less on them

so you may want not to rush things too much, and go back to difficulties you can at least get a +94% score. some rougher scores are alright every once in a while, just make sure its not the norm.

also try to check on yourself that youre not just mashing the keys and are actually playing the notes well, otherwise you'll build bad habits and wont learn the patterns properly

and it's better not to avoid patterns you cant play, the only way you can get good at them is by playing them more often.

I advice to download a lot of maps, sort them by difficulty and slowly go down the list, there's times they may be overrated or underrated in difficulty, which is pretty common, just dont let it deceive you into thinking youre doing worse/better than you actually are, blinding you from your actual progress.

you can download all mania rankeds here if you dont wanna do it all by hand community/forums/topics/330552
not very heavy, and should be enough for a long time

i downloaded the entirety of the ranked maps that mania has. the problem is the maps around 2.3* don't have the patterns that i'm having problems with at the 2.4-2.5* area.

i'm pretty sure i've S'd or A'd all the songs i have at that start range, so it feels like I have to move up to the songs that I'm struggling on.

The obvious things I could point out are to get the right scroll speed and right skin. Other than that though, I'm not exactly sure what patterns you're referring to; though there's a certain way of learning that works with all patterns.

Firstly, you can break it up into a few different sections: Reading and physical ability. At this level, I doubt it's mostly a physical limitation, since things aren't too fast just yet. It could still be that in the sense that you aren't used to moving your fingers in different ways, but I think it might be mostly a reading thing. When learning a new pattern, take it slow until you can do it and then work on speeding it up. My suggestion is to find maps with those patterns and practice them until you can get a decent score (High A or S), then keep doing that until you can do it consistently.

As much as I hate to say it, this does take time, and you won't reach the level you want to overnight. With less than a day of playtime, you have a long, long journey ahead of you, so that really is the case. Just keep playing and you'll inevitably improve in every aspect. (Btw, send a picture of those patterns and maybe we can give some pack recommendations!)

choose a good skin like arrows or circles, avoid tv maps like the plague, and try unranked maps and etterna, also try doing 7k in osu mania, you will be able to read patterns better for sure if you play 7k,and have better finger control
