Today a new update was released (yaaaay) along with a new default skin.
But it seems that there's something strange going on when using a high resolution (Fullscreen in my case which is 1920x1080) Seems like it happens in lower resolutions now as well.

wait...i swear i pointed out that second screenshot to peppy all ready D:
though i think i triggered it differently ._."

why does every awesome release happen when i'm not at home ._."

This isn't because of the new skin, I've had this happen to be me prior to the new skin. OpenGL has been really buggy for osu! lately. It's probably best to avoid it for now.

Edit:
It may actually be happening because of the new 2x resolution texture handling

It seems to happen in lower resolutions now.

I haven't tried anything lower than 1600x900 though.

i couldn't get this working on
  1. 640x480
  2. 800x600
  3. 1024x768
  4. 1024x600
i also tried 1366x768(borderless), but that just didn't even really work at all :(

i do remember doing this ages ago on my desktop though. maybe i'll try again later on that
XPJ38
I could replicate in fullscreen 1280*800 with OpenGL and any skin that uses the default skin hitcircle, regardless of its presence in the skin folder (i.e. the issue is here whether the skin doesn't have any hitcircle files in it or if it has the same hitcircle files than the template skin). I don't know if I made myself understood, I am really tired right now and my brain is somewhat idle.

Happens everywhere in the game, only on sliders hitcircles.
Couldn't replicate with DirectX or any other inferior resolution, be it full screen or windowed.

edit: renamed thread to something a bit more explicit

This should be fixed on the latest test build. Please check.
