It's baaaaack~
Hello and welcome to the third iteration of Cindelluna’s Map Roulette Tours! The format of these tours was the lovechild of ideas from a few tournaments, TNSFT being one of the big ones. As the name suggests this is a tournament based on chance, meaning mappools are composed in a random manner with no balance to them. In addition to this, the way matches are played will be up to chance as well. Interested? Then keep on reading!

Registration Forms:

General:
  1. This is an osu! standard international tournament played head to head (1v1) in score v1.
  2. There are two stages to this tournament, a qualifier stage and then a bracket stage.
  3. There are two rank tiers:
    >1k - 15k (1,000 - 15,000)
    >15k+ (15,001 - ∞)
  4. BWS will be used to calculate the final ranks of players at the end of registrations.
  5. This tournament is scheduled to last 5 weeks. For a graphic visualization of this please refer to this image.
  6. The week to round breakdown will be the following:
    >Week 1 - Qualifiers
    >Week 2 - RO16
    >Week 3 - Quarterfinals
    >Week 4 - Semifinals
    >Week 5 - Grand Finals
  7. Matches will mainly occur on weekends (Friday - Sunday).
    >Emergency weekday exceptions are allowed and discussed more with players in the Discord.
    >Due to time constraints, matches in the Qualifier Stage through Semifinals of the Bracket Stage MUST either occur on the weekend of their round or during the week beforehand. Grand Finals matches are an exception to this due to a much smaller amount of matches that would need to be rescheduled.
  8. Matches will be scheduled off of player availability. This is done by taking player availability at the start of every week.
  9. Win conditions:
    >Round of 16 & Quarterfinals: BO9 (first to 5)
    >Semifinals: BO11 (first to 6)
    >Grand Finals: BO13 (first to 7)
  10. All times will be in UTC, a time converter is provided above in the links for those who do not know how to translate well between timezones.
Mappool Information:
Both tiers will be playing the same mappool throughout the entire tournament. There are not separate mappools for each tier.

Qualifiers:
  1. There will be a total of 9 maps and all of them will be from CMRT2.
  2. To ensure as fair of a qualifier round as possible these maps will not be randomly selected.
    >Instead we will be picking 2 maps from each previous CMRT2 pool and 1 tiebreaker from the whole tournament.
    >We will try to balance the types of maps that are picked, however due to the nature of CMRT2 pools, length and BPM aren’t guaranteed to be very well balanced.
    >This is done to ensure the qualifier pool doesn’t heavily favor a certain type or group of players.
    >We will be aiming for the higher end in terms of difficulty to truly test players and ensure those who can best compete in the bracket stage of the tournament are the ones to pass.
Bracket Stage:
Tl;dr - Each week will have a mappool consisting of 15 match picks and 3 tiebreakers. Mappools are drawn randomly weekly thus meaning expect NO BALANCE. The maps selected are meant to range from somewhat difficult - extremely difficult (in terms of fcing the map). For the most part, these will be maps you rarely see in standard types of tournaments at this rank range.
  1. 12 featured mappers are selected well in advance before the start of the tournament.
  2. Each featured mapper has 5 of their own maps selected to be used in this tournament.
  3. At the start of every week a mappool drawing and showcase will be held.
    >3 of the featured mappers will be drawn randomly and their 5 maps will be revealed and make up the mappool for that week’s round.
    >The 15 maps for a week will be sorted in number order.
  4. Once a mapper has been drawn they can no longer be drawn again. This meaning once the last week comes around the remaining 3 mappers left will be the ones who make up the fifth and final mappool.
  5. Guest difficulties made by a featured mapper will be allowed for use, collab difficulties will be allowed ONLY if they are between two of the featured mappers.
  6. Each week will have 3 tiebreakers preselected as well. 1 tiebreaker of the 3 being created by one of the tournament’s featured mappers.
    >After the 15 match picks are revealed the tiebreakers picked for that week will be revealed.
    >The tiebreakers will also be sorted in a number order as well.
  7. The tiebreaker star ranges per round are as following:
    >RO16: 5.50* - 6.00*
    >Quarterfinals: 6.00* - 6.50*
    >Semifinals: 6.50* - 7.00*
    >Grand Finals: 7.00*+
  8. The total star range that will be used for this tournament is 4.00* - 9.00*.
  9. All maps will be played nomod, the exception to this will be the tiebreaker as it can be played either nomod or freemod with the use of HD, HR and/or EZ.
Qualifier Stage:
  1. To help qualifiers run smoothly there will be a set list of lobbies players can play in that are 2 hours apart from each other.
    >The current list of lobbies is found here
  2. Players will be placed into lobbies based on a lobby preference form they will submit at the start of qualifier week.
    >Players will be asked for their top 3 lobbies they would like to play in, with #1 being their priority
    >Should a player’s #1 lobby be full already then they will be placed into their second, and so on.
    >It is not mandatory to play in one of the set lobbies, if for some reason you cannot make ANY of them you will be able to request a special lobby on this form.
    >Should all 3 lobbies a player has requested be full then they will be contacted.
  3. Each lobby can hold up to 16 players
    >However should the ref of the lobby be an ingame ref then this number is capped to 15 and will be reflected when the schedule is made.
  4. Each player will play through the qualifier mappool once.
  5. The mappool will be played in a certain order judged by the mappoolers as the least straining/least possible to mess with player performance.
    >For fairness, everyone must play the mappool in this exact order. No exceptions.
  6. Each map is played nomod and in score v1.
  7. Failed scores count.
  8. Players have up to 2 minutes to ready up between maps.
    >This will be enforced by the referee using an !mp timer to prevent unnecessary delaying.
    >Players delaying past this timer without an emergency/accepted reason will receive a strike and it is up to the referee’s discretion.
  9. Should a player disconnect within the first 30 seconds of a map then the map will be aborted and replayed once the player returns.
    >Players must return within 10 minutes of disconnecting or else they will be forfeited from the tournament.
    >Should a player not be able to make it in 10 minutes and communicate this with their ref, they will be rescheduled to a different lobby.
    >Maps are only able to be replayed once. Should someone disconnect during a map being replayed they can either accept a score of 0 for that map, or replay the map at the very end of the lobby after the other players have left.
    >Players are only allowed 1 disconnect, should a player keep disconnecting then they will be rescheduled to a different lobby to give them time to fix their connection issues.
  10. Using relative rank, the top 16 players for both tiers will move to the Bracket Stage.
    >The top scoring player for a map will be awarded a 1.00 and everyone else below them will be awarded a relative ranking using the equation below.
    >Every player's rankings will be added up and the top 16 players for both brackets will move on to the RO16.
Bracket Stage:
  1. Double elimination
  2. Both players will !roll at the start of the match, the winner of the roll gets first warm-up and second ban. Loser will get the opposite.
  3. There will only be 1 warmup and 1 ban per player.
  4. Players are allowed to have host for warm-ups.
  5. Once warmups and bans are finished the referee will keep host for the remainder of the match.
    >The referee is responsible to !roll every time to see what map will be played.
    >Referees will !roll 15 and the outcome # will be the map played.
    >What this means is that players do not get to pick maps directly from the mappool; instead the maps picked are completely left to chance/a roll.
    >Once a map has been picked it can no longer be picked again. Should a roll land on an already picked map a reroll will take place.
    >To save time, if the remaining amount of maps drop to 6 or less, referees are permitted to !roll # with # being the remaining amount of maps left.
  6. Once a map has been rolled, players have 2 minutes to ready up.
    >This will be enforced by the referee using an !mp timer to prevent unnecessary delaying.
    >Players delaying past this timer without an emergency/accepted reason will receive a strike and it is up to the referee’s discretion.
  7. Should a match get to tiebreaker then rolls will be done to ban 2 of of the 3 tiebreakers
  8. The player who initially rolled highest will !roll 3, the outcome of their roll will be the first tiebreaker banned. The second player must then !roll 3 and the outcome of their roll will be the second tiebreaker banned.
    >Should Player #2 roll the same number as Player #1 a reroll will take place until a different number is outputted.
    >The remaining map of the 3 will then be played as the tiebreaker.
  9. Should a player disconnect within the first 30 seconds of a map then the map will be aborted and replayed once the player returns.
    >Disconnects after the first 30 seconds of a map will be considered a point loss for that player unless the player who didn’t disconnect agrees to replay the map
    >Players must return within 10 minutes of disconnecting or else the match will result in a forfeit for them.
    >Should a player not be able to make it in 10 minutes and communicate this with their ref, their timer is increased to 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, depending on the player not disconnected, the match may either be rescheduled, or the player disconnected forfeits.
    >Players are only allowed up to 3 disconnects in a match, should a player keep disconnecting past that their match will be rescheduled to give them time to fix their connection issues.
  10. Failed scores count, if a player fails but their score is higher than the alive player, they win.
  11. Should both players fail a map then the player with the higher score will win the point.
  12. If a player no-shows 10 minutes past the scheduled match time then that match is considered a forfeit for them
Hey! if you're reading this, the answer to the last question on the registration quiz is: Xingchen. She's the vocaloid pictured in this tournament's main graphic :3c
BWS:
  1. Short for Badge Weighted Seeding, BWS is a tournament-minded seeding method intended to more accurately seed players and enforce rank restrictions based on the player's tournament badges.
  2. In short, BWS artificially "ranks up" players based on the amount of badges they have.
  3. More specifically, the formula is as follows:
rank^(0.99^(badges*(badges+1)/2))

  1. We will only be counting osu!std tournament badges. That means all mapping, other mode, community, ect. badges are voided and not counted.
  2. We will also ONLY be counting badges displayed on a player’s profile.
    >Any pending badges are not counted and do not have to be reported when registering.
    >The final number of badges however, is counted at the end of registrations. So if a pending badge does end up on a player’s profile by then, it will be counted.
  3. Under no circumstances will we be allowing badge appeals.

General Rules:
  1. All players must meet their bracket’s rank requirement at the end of registration after BWS is applied. NO EXCEPTIONS.
    >Players who rank or decay out of their bracket will be kicked from the tournament or moved depending on the bracket.
  2. ALL PLAYERS MUST MEET THE REQUIREMENTS UNDER THE SECTION “Player Restrictions & Requirements” BELOW
  3. There will be a limit to the # of players that can sign up. Should we exceed 128 players for each bracket then only the top 128 players by rank will be accepted.
    >This is due to limited staff working and time duration restrictions for when this tournament can be hosted.
    >This is subject to change.
  4. In the event of a name change please notify staff via discord DMing.
  5. Rescheduling rules will be posted and pinned in the channel labelled #reschedules.
  6. Joining the discord is mandatory for all players as it will be used to communicate to and between players and staff. No discord? Either make one or you will not be allowed to join.
  7. When joining the discord, please change your nickname to your in-game username, there will also be more instructions upon welcome to the discord
  8. Regarding moderating this tournament we have a three strike rule.
    >Players & Staff have three strikes regarding breaking rules for both the tournament and discord.
    >On a person’s third strike they are automatically kicked from the current tournament and future tournaments for varying times.
    >Strikes are handed out and decided by the head staff and host. Other staff members, players, and non tournament moderators of the discord can bring up concerns that will be judged on a case by case basis by all head staff.
    >Minor Infractions can be but are not limited to: no-showing a match without communication, constantly stalling in matches, spam pinging in the discord, fighting with your ref on a decision, ect.
    >Major Infractions on the other hand can lead to an outright ban after just one. They do require heavy discussion by Head Staff and substantial evidence for certain cases.
    >Major Infractions can be but are not limited to: Blatant racism or severe harassment to anyone in the discord or tournament, cheating, throwing matches to boost another player, ect.
  9. Staff members who sign up and agree to help but end up doing 0 work or communicating with the host that they can no longer help will be banned from staffing or participating as a player for any future Cindelluna tournament for at least 1 year.
    >Communication is key, please don’t be a dick and ghost. If you can no longer staff it is 100% okay and appreciated if you communicate that.
    >Ghosting due to health and family emergencies will not result in a ban. It is understandable if one has difficulty communicating in these cases.
Player Restrictions & Requirements:
  1. The only staff roles eligible to play are: Commentators. All other roles are banned from participating.
  2. Accounts that have previously been restricted must be unrestricted for at least 1 year to be eligible to sign up. No exceptions.
  3. Players deemed suspicious by me and or are reported to me by other tournament hosts for unfavorable behavior will be denied registration.
  4. In accordance to badge rules, accounts flagged by osu! staff during background checks are not able to play under any circumstance. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. Should any player want to contest this they must email osu! staff.
  5. Players restricted mid tourney are immediately kicked/forfeited from the tournament.
  6. To register you must have at least
    >300 hours minimum of playtime.
    >An account that has been registered for at least 1 year.
ALL PLAYERS MUST MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS. There is 0 tolerance for cheaters and those who ruin the fun and experience for others. Anyone caught cheating during or after CMRT #3 will face full consequences. The host (Cindelluna) reserves every right to remove and or deny registration to any player who submits a form.
Match Rules:
  1. STRICTLY head to head, score v1
  2. There will only be 1 ban per player
  3. There will only be 1 warm-up per player
  4. There are no warm-ups during the Qualifier Stage
  5. Warm-up maps are to be 4:00 or less, they may be longer only at the pre-approval of the ref and the other player. Anything exceeding 6:00 is banned from being used at all as a warm-up
  6. Tiebreakers may be played nomod or they may include Hidden, Hard Rock, and/or Easy.
  7. It is highly recommended to be online 10 minutes before your match for the purpose of setting up lobbies, players who do not show up after 10 minutes from the scheduled match time will result in the match being a loss for them
  8. If you are scheduled for a streamed match, it is mandatory to be on 10 minutes before your match starts
  9. Failed scores COUNT.
  10. During a match, the ref will always have the final say for anything that happens in a lobby.

All players are expected to know and abide by these rules, no exceptions will given to those who break them. We are not responsible if you “didn’t know” about any of these rules considering that they are posted before the tournament even starts.

The lists found here are of players banned for varying amounts of time from participating in any Cindelluna Tour due to varying reasons. Such reasons can be, but are not limited to: excessive toxicity, harassment, rule breaking, cheating, etc. People banned from the discord are automatically banned from any Cindelluna Tour. To avoid drama and harassment situations some names have been withheld from the list below. Appeals and questions regarding a ban can be handled by messaging the host (Cindelluna) via discord DM.

Information About Each List:
  1. The “Banned” list is for players who have officially been banned from competing in any future Cindelluna tournaments whatsoever.
  2. The “Blacklist” is a temporary ban list, this is for players who commit minor infractions such as no-showing a match without communication, constantly stalling in matches, ect. Or players who have been automatically forfeited from a tournament due to the three strike rule (see rules section). The time a player is banned will be next to their name (it is usually 1-2 tournament installments).

  2. For several reasons, prize money will only be distributed via PayPal. Any and all processing fees are covered by the host and do not have to be paid by winners.
  3. 5th place is determined by whoever scores more points between the two losers of 25 and 26 in this graphic. Time permitting and if both players want OR if both players score the same, an additional 5th place match can be scheduled and played using the Grand Finals pool and win condition.

I really love Cindelluna
Like, a lot. Like, a whole lot. You have no idea. I love her so much that it is inexplicable, and I'm ninety-nine percent sure that I have an unhealthy obsession. I will never get tired of listening that sweet, angelic voice of hers when she streams. It is my life goal to meet up her with her in real life and just say hello to her.

I fall asleep at night dreaming of her holding a personal show match stream for me, and then she would be sorry tired that she comes and cuddles up to me while we sleep together. If I could just hold her hand for a brief moment, I could die happy. If given the opportunity, I would lightly nibble on her ear just to hear what kind of sweet moans she would let out. Then, I would hug her while she clings to my body hoping that I would stop, but I only continue as she moans louder and louder.

I would give up almost anything just for her to look in my general direction. No matter what I do, I am constantly thinking of her. When I wake up, she is the first thing on my mind. When I go to school, I can only focus on her. When I go come home, I go on the computer so that I can listen to her beautiful voice during tournaments. When I go to sleep, I dream of me winning her tournament and praising me in #announcements. She is my pride, passion, and joy. If she were to call me "Onii-chan" I would probably get diabetes from her sweetness and die.

I wish for nothing but her happiness. If it were for her, I would give my life without any second thoughts. Without her, my life would serve no purpose. I really love Cindelluna.
