I found out about it through osu!STD, and actually started out with osu!STD as my orig. gamemode. After playing RoBeats on and off for 2 years I got addicted to osu!mania and have been playing it for 5 months now.

love it or hate it, you cant deny that robeats has done a very good job bringing a ton more players to osu!mania, with some really good players among them
Bobbias
Played standard before mania was released. Switched to mania on day 1 of the public release.

i agree! so many robeats players have moved to osu mania and made incredible progression, with a few hitting delta and multiple hitting luminal, gamma and tachyon dan

I started by playing Robeats on and off for a few years, and eventually I found out about osu!mania through the Robeats discord server.

I know robeats is looked at as a joke game in the osu community, but I met a lot of people in Robeats who also played mania... so I checked it out, and here I am. Lol

lemme start with 4 years ago, back then I discovered mania was a thing (by accident). I tried to play some easy autoconverts (I didn't know there are actual mania maps, pardon my ignorance), and I literally have no idea the way I mixed skins for mania at that time is terrible so I just can't play it, and eventually abandoned the gamemode.

3 years later, I started trying out Dynamix and got emerged of it, that's when I discovered more mobile rhythm games (Cytus 2, Phigros, Arcaea, etc.). At the point I can now pass IN15 (Phigros) and some easy Mega (Dynamix), someone just suggest me to chart mania maps. That's when I decided to try out mania again.

Started in October 2019 after playing Sound Voltex at my local arcade for 3 days straight. I figured hey since they have this mode, I should practice 4key so I can hit most patterns when I return to Voltex. And here I am today.

My friend introduced it to me when i was in middle school..

Hi!

I've mistakenly thought O2Mania/O2Jam is a sequel to osu!mania a few years ago.

And I believe this was one of the first videos I watch when I got introduced into osu!mania.

I found it when I search for, "Death Melody O2Jam".
Yeah...

---

But then, I got reintroduced in 2019 after I'm done with Robeats, finally be playing osu!mania on that year.

My friends suggest me to play osu!catch. But then i was more interested to osu!standard. Unfortunately, many Indonesian players are like to play osu!mania especially when multi. When I tried it, it was easier than the other modes.

I've discovered osu! thanks to a friend, 3 years ago. Then, I've discovered o!m in september 2019 because I really like rhythm games wih tiles (before start to play mania I've played a lot rhythm games on mobile, obviously not Piano Tiles lmao).
