Problem details:I uninstalled osu! for a while to focus on studying ant when I tried to reinstall, the installer told me the error. It says "An error occured, please check your internet connection" and just doesn't move.

I thought it was actually my internet at first but I can play literally any online game just fine, I could install the older version of osu but I cant update it or the same error will appear. I tried searching for solutions to this but the latest I found was years old, so please help :<

Oh I apologize for not clarifying, I currently do not have osu installed. As I said the installer itself is saying the error. But if it is required, should I install the older version instead (since it seems to work, just cant update)

The installer should still generate a log file wherever osu! is trying to install.

The default path is Drive:\users\user\appdata\local\osu!
