- This modding queue is now dedicated to all mappers who still have unranked beatmaps. So please, do not post here if you have a ranked beatmap.
- 3 maps per round.
- Post only one map, please. You can decide to post another person's map if you want, but again, be sure to post only one.
- Your mapset must be complete and pending. Not accepting WIP (work-in-progress) maps at the moment.
- I only mod standard difficulties.
- I accept every genre of music and I have no preferences at all.
- I can mod in english or portuguese.
- Do not post if there are already three maps and the round is declared "closed" by me, please.
- Currently no M4M available.
Why this modding queue is dedicated to unranked mappers?
I've been an osu! user for 10 years now, and throughout these years I have seen several (and important) changes in the entire ranking system.
I still feel that despite those changes, there will always exist room for improvement when it comes to listen and help unranked mappers to achieve their dreams here: having a ranked beatmap.
It's important to emphasize that we have an osu! program like the Community Mentorship, that "helps upcoming mappers and modders develop their skills under the guidance of more experienced mappers and modders", which is absolutely necessary and a great and very important program to have for the mapping-community.
Nonetheless, there's also thousands of mappers out there who understand and use several mapping techniques, they know what the ranking system is, they know how it works, but in the end they still don't manage to get what they need for having a ranked beatmap. Speaking from experience, that is one of the most frustrating and lonesome feelings unranked mappers can have here, and that's exactly the kind of people I want to help with this queue. Ultimately, that is the best program I believe we can thrive to have.

I only have X ranked beatmap(s), can I still have a mod?
If you have a ranked beatmap, you know how the ranking process works, and you know exactly what you have to do to get it ranked. It is much easier for someone who already have a ranked map to get another one than someone who doesn't have any, so the main purpose of this queue is to help unranked mappers.
When I'll get my mod?
I just recently came back to modding after several months, so please be patient to receive your mod. It may take a couple of days as I'm still trying to settle things between my job and my free time around here. My current goal of this queue is to mod all maps of the round each day.
3 maps per round is not enough! Can you increase the number of maps?
Unfortunately this is my limit for the time being. I promise I'll try to increase this number as soon as possible.
I'm very new to mapping! Any tips you can give me?
First of all: believe in your map. And most importantly: don't give up. This may seem like a cliché to say, but in this mapping-community, it is the absolute truth. I've seen many people abandon their maps (including myself), no matter how good they are in the first place.
The process of ranking a map is a constant work that takes time, especially for unranked mappers, so you need to stay focused and committed to it as well. Don't expect the community to do their job on their own. This is your map, for the community. Be open-minded and respectful to what other people have to say about your map, but don't change things you don't agree with because it's your map after all.
Don't be afraid and/or ashamed to ask for help. There are many people here willing to help you. Even if sometimes they don't seem to exist at all, they do. You'll just have to work your way around finding them, so don't expect them to find you. You can look for modding queues like this one around here (there's many of them!), and you can use in-game channels like #modhelp to discuss anything beatmap-related, and #modreqs to request mods as well.
Another important advice is to check other peoples' mods in already-ranked beatmaps, as it contains feedback that modders provide for mappers to decide whether or not to change something in their maps. By doing this, you'll get used to what a beatmap has to go through in order to get it ranked in the first place. Plus, you'll begin to understand several mapping terms and techniques modders and mappers often use.
And finally, get familiar with the Ranking Criteria. This is extremely important as it contains all rules and guidelines required for your beatmap to be ranked someday. In case you haven't seen it already, take your time to read and understand what all of that means and can reflect in your map in any way. And again, don't give up. Persistence is the key.
