Hey, so, I recently did my first ever beatmap. It was supposed to be a difficulty to Log Off Now's Marshmary map. But when I tried to submit it, it would show the message "The beatmap you are trying to submit isn't yours".
So I tried a method I read here of copying the data in the ".osu file in notepad". The map transferred just fine to the new map I had created (with only my map and not the other diffs), and it even shows my username as the creator. But for some reason, the message still appears when I try to upload it.
Does anyone know something that might help me? It took me a very long time to make that map and I wouldn't like to lose it.
