  1. Lots of hitobjects are not correctly snapped... Lally has pointed almost all of them, though there are vatious unsnapped notes on the taiko diffs too. Remember to resnap them by going into the Timing menu ----> Resnap All Notes!

  1. 00:26:615 (5,1) - Not really a fan of this kind of pattern... You see,the linear flow which 00:26:615 (5) - followed got totally broken there because of 00:27:473 (1) - 's placement which implies a returning back, and that actually felt quite umpleasing to play there... Wouldn't it be better if instead you kept your style, blanketting 00:27:473 (1) - with 00:26:615 (5) - ? That would definitely solve the problem, other than creating a quite fun to play pattern with 00:28:501 (2,3) - ,which follows up perfectly its oval flow there. Here's what I have done, see if you like it:

  2. 00:41:529 (1,2,3,4) - I know your intent there on blanketting 00:42:215 (3,4) - ,but by doing that wou have created a quite sloppy to play diamond pattern, which does not really play well in there... :\ If you want to anyways continue your blanket there, what about instead using a different structure, such as an arc-pattern,combined with a "3" shaped slider, to continue well the pattern? That does actually play really smooth, other than following up 00:40:501 (4) - :P

  3. 00:56:102 (x)- This isn't really needed,so feel free to skip if you don't want to change: What about adding a note here? It would create a pretty good transition between 00:55:586 (1,3) - ,and it would vary a bit the rhythm played there too! It plays quite good with these 2 sliders imho :3
  4. 01:04:158 (2,3,4,1) - Not really a big deal, thoughyou could smooth out a bit the flow there by making instead these two sliders curved. Using two linear sliders kinda felt not really smooth to play, and considering the nature of 01:03:129 (1) - ,using curved sliders would really benefit there, considering that with an arc-shaped pattern you could make 01:05:872 (1) - a wave slider, which works pretty good in both flow (considering the following sliders) and aesthetics! :P

  5. 01:30:558 (2) - I guess you missed a whistle at the beginning of this slider? It would really fit good with the vocals' pitch, and considering that you have added it too at 01:36:043 (3) - I can't see why not there :D
  6. 01:37:244 (5) - As already said in the Easy diff, why are you using a whistle there instead of a finish? I can't really understand this,as a finish would have fit much better there, and again considering you have used it in the Hard diff too,why aren't you using it here too?
  7. 02:07:245 (2,3,4) - Not really a big deal again, but instead of using these curved sliders I would rearrange the pattern using a note and 2 sliders 1/1 to make 02:07:245 (2) - blanket 02:06:215 (1) - continuing the pattern with 02:07:587 (3,4) - ,which are linear sliders starting from 02:06:215 (1) - 's head. I think this could flow more smoothly than the actual pattern, because of these transitions, which work pretty well with 02:08:958 (1) - too. Try it out!

  8. 02:14:445 (1,2) - Huhh...Why are you combining 2 sliders with exactly the same curve using a linear pattern? It really doesen't play well :< I know you are keeping the consistency there, but consider breaking it using two curved sliders with opposite curves - it will play way more smoothly than the actual pattern! Here's how I rearranged the whole pattern, see if you like it!

  9. 02:23:701 (3,4) - This rhythm setting doesn't really fit with the instruments, considering the vocals do actually finish at 02:24:559 - ,1/2 before actually ends, wouldn't it be better if you actually folllowed them? Shortening 02:24:215 (4) - by 1/2,until 02:24:559 - , and adding a note at 02:24:902 - would totally solve the problem.
  10. 02:32:272 (5,1) - Similarly as 00:26:615 (5,1) - ,I don't really like that much how you are breaking 02:32:272 (5) - 's oval flow there... A possible solution would be using CTRL+G on the top of 02:33:643 (1) - to make it follow better 02:32:272 (5) - 's curve,but I have made some changes as well,see if you like them!

  1. 00:29:359 (1,2,3,4) - This is more a personal opinion that an issue,so feel free to fix just if you want: What about tranforming that triangular pattern in another one, which exactly follows 00:29:359 (1) - 's oval flow? It's rather a subjective thing, but I find this pretty much smooth to play and it creates a nice jump with 00:30:387 (1) - too. Try it out!

  2. 00:44:959 (5,6) - Not really a big deal, but what about making a pattern with these two notes reversed? It would totally fit well there,as it follows 00:44:445 (4) - 's dropoff right ahead going from the right to the left and it would make a nice jump with 00:45:302 (1,2,3) - ,considering that you have been using many of these that would be even better! Here I have changed a bit the notes' position to keep the spacing regular there, see if you like it!

  3. 00:46:673 (2,3,4) - Considering how you have placed 00:46:330 (1,2) - ,this blanket+wave slider didn't really play that smooth, and considering the almost linear pattern 00:47:702 (5,6,1) - ,I would instead suggest you to continue the flow with an arc-shaped pattern, from 00:46:673 (2,3,4) - to 00:47:187 (4,5,6,1) - : imho, following a bit more these dropoffs being played there wouldn't hurt at all,and on the other side, they make the map there smoother and nice to see too! Here's what I have done, see if you like it!

  4. 00:54:902 (3) - That's a quite little hitsounds thing, feel free to ignore it: what about switching the end of this slider to a soft-sampleset one? A normal-sampleset there does fit good, but considering you haven't followed this 2/1 normal-sampleset consistency,it will sound kinda strange,so wouldn't it be better if you actually removed this?
  5. 01:34:673 (1,2) - Why didn't you follow the synth's changement of pitch there by skipping over it with a 1/1 slider? It sounds quite strange during the play, and it does not really match up with any of the song's instrument. What about instead using another pattern to follow that follows that changement of pitch? Using a pattern like this would fit quite good there:

A pattern which could fit pretty good there could be using a 1/1 slider which blankets 01:34:673 (1) - and ends at 01:34:502 (4) - with an arc pattern right ahead... Here's what I have done:

  6. 01:42:559 (4) - Oh well... Why are you using the same curve as 01:42:045 (3,5) - ? I know your intent on ideally encircling 01:41:187 (3) - ,though it does actually break both 01:42:045 (3,5) - 's oval flow, which feels kinda unpleasing to play. Why don't you instead reverse this slider's curve? Imho,it would totally flow smooth because it follows quite good 01:42:045 (3,5) - 's oval flow being played right there.

  7. 02:11:530 (2) - Why are you using this clap? It does kinda feel overused there, and it sounds kinda bad... What if you instead kept the consistency with the first refrain,by removing it? The whole pattern sounded quite better by doing so!
A really good difficulty you have there, nice job! I enjouyes this quite a lot ^^
And with this I have finally finished my mod. Sorry for the delay, this week brought me lots of exams,so I really didn't have the proper amount of time to mod. Anyways as already said this is a pretty good map, just get some mods for the Insane diff (as it's been just submitted, and it received just 2 mod posts,so xD) and call me back when you're done. I hope I have helped you for now! ^^

(no kds,it's a continuous of the precedent mod post)

  1. 00:36:730 (x)- That's a quite little thing, and you may not agree with me there, but what about adding a note here? There's really no reason to skip over this synth's chord,as you have totally followed it 00:32:958 (1,2,3,4,5) - and by skipping this you have totally broken your 1/1 pattern. Here,I tried to modify the pattern with the new note,as in the current pattern it's kinda difficult to place the note without totally breaking the flow xD Haha , Done

  2. 00:38:102 (1,2) - Oh well, not really a fan of the use of this kind of hitobjects. These sliders create a "press-hold rhythm" which is quite strange here,as there is no held of any instruments being heard there, making the whole transition quite weird to play. What about instead composing the whole pattern by a note - 1/1 slider - 1/1 slider to follow better both the drums and synth? Imho, that would be the best solution on this situation: Done

I have made a pattern following this kind of pattern too. See if you like it :)

  3. 00:54:559 (x)- Again, what about adding a note here? Actually, following the kicks there plays quite good and it continues well your rhythmical pattern! I feel that if I put the note here, is a bit hard to understand for beginners, so do not put here
  4. 01:02:444 (3,4) - Considering where 01:01:072 (1) - 's oval flow is going, going directly downwards with this slider is not a really good idea imho. What about instead making this pattern go upwards to follow that oval flow and to make a nice wavy pattern which could work really well here? Here's what I have done, see if you like it!

  6. 01:36:044 (1,2,3) - This is a reeeally little thing, just fix if you want: what about making 01:34:672 (2,1) - opposed sliders? 7. 01:37:415 (3) - Shouldn't there be a finish instead of a whistle? I can clearly hear a cymbal being played there, and you have done the same on the other diffs,so why not here? Sure xD , Done
  8. 01:44:272 (1,2) - Putting these two sliders above 01:42:901 (4) - using a linear pattern and blanketting 01:45:645 (2) - with 01:44:272 (1) - there kinda breaks the flow,as with the following sliders it plays quite bad and it feels unpleasing... What about instead using a different set using differently-rotated slider to prevent that? Here's what I have done there, once again: nice idea , Fixed

    1. 00:26:615 (5,1) - Not really a fan of this kind of pattern...

    6. 01:37:244 (5) - As already said in the Easy diff, why are you using a whistle there instead of a finish? I can't really understand this,as a finish would have fit much better there, and again considering you have used it in the Hard diff too,why aren't you using it here too?
    7. 02:07:245 (2,3,4) - Not really a big deal again, but instead of using these curved sliders I would rearrange the pattern using a note and 2 sliders 1/1 to make 02:07:245 (2) - blanket 02:06:215 (1) - continuing the pattern with 02:07:587 (3,4) - ,which are linear sliders starting from 02:06:215 (1) - 's head. 4. 00:54:902 (3) - That's a quite little hitsounds thing, feel free to ignore it: what about switching the end of this slider to a soft-sampleset one? A normal-sampleset there does fit good, but considering you haven't followed this 2/1 normal-sampleset consistency,it will sound kinda strange,so wouldn't it be better if you actually removed this? It gives a better appearance to the sound, I'll leave it
    5. 01:34:673 (1,2) - Why didn't you follow the synth's changement of pitch there by skipping over it with a 1/1 slider?

02:31:930 (1,2,3) - Jumps dont suit here, make normal spacing I'll ask about this with TeA , maybe is a good idea here

Theres is nothing else i could find, really this diff is totally fine. No need for any more mods on the Insane.

Hello. I'm from ♫ ~ Project Thorough Modding ~ ♫.

this is unrankable.
this should be highly considered.
this is just a normal suggestion/praise.

Let me know if there's any questions you might have with anything I say below!

General
  1. You have a taiko-bg. Someone noted this above, but you said you've updated, when the bg is still there. Just use the default background for the Taiko diffs.
  2. SB\2: Could you remove the cap on T in through? It's proper English for a lyric-sb, right? :)
  3. SB\2: This image doesn't fade after the first break. It's behind the background, but nonetheless, it should be changed.
  4. The set is really well done! Great job. (I looked through the standard set and didn't find anything to poke at, this is ready to go!)

  1. Quite a bit of these difficulty has unsnapped notes. It wouldn't hurt looking through AIBAT. Just run through and click resnap all notes in the timing section as the others have mentioned.

  1. 00:36:730 (x)- That's a quite little thing, and you may not agree with me there, but what about adding a note here?

[Normal]

    1. 00:26:615 (5,1) - Not really a fan of this kind of pattern...

    6. 01:37:244 (5) - As already said in the Easy diff, why are you using a whistle there instead of a finish? I can't really understand this,as a finish would have fit much better there, and again considering you have used it in the Hard diff too,why aren't you using it here too?
    7. 02:07:245 (2,3,4) - Not really a big deal again, but instead of using these curved sliders I would rearrange the pattern using a note and 2 sliders 1/1 to make 02:07:245 (2) - blanket 02:06:215 (1) - continuing the pattern with 02:07:587 (3,4) - ,which are linear sliders starting from 02:06:215 (1) - 's head.

It gives a better appearance to the sound, I'll leave it
    5. 01:34:673 (1,2) - Why didn't you follow the synth's changement of pitch there by skipping over it with a 1/1 slider?

A really good difficulty you have there, nice job! I enjouyes this quite a lot ^^
All done in TeA's Insane except the hitsounds :D

Thanks for the mod that really helped me Kevin

Here's your mod from Project Thorough Modding! Sorry to say, but you're stuck with me as the MAT who's modding this instead. :)

[General]
  1. Shouldn't the title be simply 'S3RL feat. Sara - Feel The Melody', not 'DJ S3RL'? I'm not sure, but i've looked around and I don't seem to find it labeled as DJ S3RL much anywhere else. I'm sure just S3RL is fine. ((talked to -kevincela- about this, even if there is already a map ranked with DJ in front of S3RL)).
[Easy]
Hitsound and Combo Mods
  1. 00:24:730 (4) - Add a New Combo here; throughout the map, at least during the kiai sections, you add NCs each two measures. It's been two measures and this follows the music better. Afterwards, remove the NC at 00:25:759 -.
  2. 00:54:902 (1) - Add a finish in here? It fits in with the BGM seeing that there is a shattering sound being made at this moment. This also means remove the finish at 00:55:587 -; it has no real purpose since there is no finish sound in the BGM. It just makes it sound bad.
  3. 01:03:816 (4) - Remove the whistle here to keep consistent with your hitsound pattern! You only are using whistles for this short section not on her vocal holds, but where her voice is prominently saying something.
  4. 01:41:530 (3) - New Combo to make your NC-Every-Two-Measures pattern consistent!
  5. 01:47:016 (3) - Same as above~!
  6. 02:08:273 (1) - Remove the New Combo here and add it at (3)! To keep your combo pattern consistent and to follow the music better.
  7. 02:41:530 (5) - New Combo since you would've been following the girl's vocals.
  1. 00:33:987 (2) - No point to have a curve here imho; it doesn't really lead on a beat-circle curved transition, so i'd prefer it if you straightened it out.
  2. 01:09:302 (2) - Can you make this into a shorter repeat slider instead? It's a pretty long slider for this map when you can be following other tunes in the music. Try something like this.
  3. 02:43:245 (1) - 'Final bass drop is here. I suggest that you end the map here instead (the spinner to be exact). It feels a bit unnatural to follow the other short sound after the bass drop that occurs.
[Normal]
Hitsound and Combo Mods
  1. 02:24:902 (5) - Why is this not a part of the New Combo afterwards? It follows the girl's vocals as well, so add one here and remove the one from the note directly afterwards.
  1. Go to the Timing tab and then click 'Resnap All Notes'. There are around twenty unsnapped notes here, that being single beats or sliderends, which is unrankable.
  2. 00:40:502 (4) - Following the music, this is not an area where you would have put a slider before; you should replace this slider with a shorter one that ends at 00:40:845 -, and then add a note at 00:41:187 -. Since then you would have four hitcircles in a row and that may feel like much at a time for an easier difficulty, replace 00:41:873 (2, 3) - with another shot slider.
  3. 00:48:045 (3) - Why such a deep curve for such a short slider? Make it appear a bit longer by moving the slider curve point up a bit? It shouldn't effect the spacing too much.
  4. 00:56:102 (2) - Remove this note; throughout this normal difficulty, this is the only section/area where a beat is placed to follow the girl's vocals; the rest are coincidental and following solely the music's rhythm and beat. Plus, it doesn't flow all too well, honestly.
  5. 01:33:130 (5) - Could you move this to the right a bit more? It would give the feel of the note making a bit more curved transition, ( like a suddle angle transition)), rather then a quick one where (5) is now.
  6. 02:24:216 (4) - Imo, it'd flow a bit better if you made it as if (4) was a continueation of the (3) slider by moving it in the direct angle of where the (3) slider left off as opposed to being more near the top of the slider.
  7. 02:43:245 (1) - 'Final bass drop is here. I suggest that you end the map here instead (the spinner to be exact). It feels a bit unnatural to follow the other short sound after the bass drop that occurs.
[Hard]
Hitsound and Combo Mods
  1. 00:55:587 (1) - Sincerely, there is no need for the finish. It just sounds bad, there's none in the BGM, and you've used it on the note previous; just remove it, it sounds much better.
  1. 01:29:702 (1) - Can you make this slider more like a curve rather than an arch? It's just plain out weird to play in this pattern imo.
  2. 01:37:245 (5) + 02:10:845 (2) - 'End of these sliders are hidden under a hitburst, therefore UNRANKABLE. Re-position the sliders so that you can see if they have a repeat or not, please!
  3. 02:43:245 (1) - 'Final bass drop is here. I suggest that you end the map here instead (the spinner to be exact). It feels a bit unnatural to follow the other short sound after the bass drop that occurs.
[Insane]
Hitsound and Combo Mods
  1. 00:41:702 (5) - Add a New Combo here and remove the next New Combo coming after it; It follows your combo pattern and emphasizes this part of the music more.
  2. 00:46:330 (1) - Make this part of the previous Combo and add the New Combo where two is currently. It goes with the downbeat, which imho, is much better.
  3. 01:34:673 (1) - Remove the New Combo here, add it back on 01:35:530 -, and then remove it from 01:36:045 -. It follows the music much better and keeps your combo pattern consistent.
  4. 02:03:987 (6) - Add a new combo here and then remove the New Combo on the next note- It emphasizes the music much better.
  1. 01:35:187 (2) - With the standard hitburst (as all maps looking for this issue should be modded with), it leaves barely any time to see if there is a repeat here or not; also called a hidden slider end. This is moderate and not severe, but I hiiiiighly suggest you change this.
[Muzu]
  1. 01:15:473 - d; better with a note here!

  10. 01:52:330 (3, 4, 1, 2, 1) - k k k d k

13:29 XinCrin: Ok I'll fix it
13:29 Gabe: You can do it when we're done
13:29 Gabe: [Hard]
13:29 Gabe: 02:30:045 (1) - You should move this slider a bit since it's not making a great blanket with the previous circle
13:30 Gabe: 02:36:387 (4) - Same as this one, but move it one grid down
13:31 XinCrin: Done
13:31 XinCrin: Done
13:32 Gabe: Everything's good for Hard
13:33 XinCrin: :D
13:33 Gabe: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/624945

13:34 XinCrin: xD
13:38 Gabe: You have a custom hitcircle
13:38 Gabe: right?
13:38 XinCrin: Yes
13:39 Gabe: You should add a SliderBorder code
13:40 XinCrin: Could you help me in the color of sliderborder?
13:40 Gabe: sure
13:43 Gabe: ...
13:43 Gabe: the code seems to not working

14:02 XinCrin: Ok
14:02 Gabe: When you're done, update

A little irc mod has been done via irc. Here's the log:

SPOILER
20:26 -kevincela-: okay,let's recheck :p
20:26 XinCrin: Thank you :D
20:27 -kevincela-: oh wow the new sb is awesome
20:27 XinCrin: Thank you :D
20:28 XinCrin: Done by me :P
20:28 -kevincela-: on the easy diff
20:29 XinCrin: Ok ?
20:30 -kevincela-: 01:12:730 (2,3) - Huh,why the linear transition? Considering 01:12:730 (2) - 's oval flow, this totally breaks it :U Why not instead moving it at x:192 y:140? It seems a more reasonable point,as it continues perfectly its oval flow
20:31 XinCrin: So ?
20:31 XinCrin: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/625034
20:32 -kevincela-: 01:31:587 (2) - What about adding a whistle here? It's a really little thing, but imho it fits quite well with the vocals being played there :P
20:32 -kevincela-: that setting seems good to me
20:32 -kevincela-: 01:45:644 (1) - I think you misplaced this New Combo
20:32 -kevincela-: as it doesen't really make sense there on its own
20:32 XinCrin: Totally agree !
20:34 XinCrin: What should I do?
20:34 XinCrin: Remove the NewCombo ?
20:34 -kevincela-: yep
20:34 -kevincela-: just do that
20:34 -kevincela-: 02:41:530 (1) - Same for this,I think it doesen't really need to stay there
20:35 XinCrin: Ok , Done
20:42 -kevincela-: 02:27:473 (1,2) - This a quite little thing, just fix if you want: What about reverting 02:28:502 (2) - 's curve,to make it continue 02:27:473 (1) - 's oval flow? Imho,it flows quite good there, and it continues pretty good the following pattern as well! Here's what I have done, see if you like it: http://puu.sh/26IW5 http://puu.sh/26IYp

20:44 XinCrin: nice idea ^^
20:44 -kevincela-: thanks :p
20:49 -kevincela-: on the normal: 02:03:473 (1,2,3,4) - Well,I did not really like the hitobjects placement in this pattern... As of 02:03:473 (1) - 's oval flow,I expected 02:04:502 (2) - to go down, and I expected two curved sliders continuing the whole pattern instead of that linear-curve mix. What about using a pattern with these arc-shaped patterns to continue 02:03:473 (1) - 's oval flow there? http://puu.sh/26Jcl http://puu.sh/26Jdr

20:50 XinCrin: Done!
20:51 -kevincela-: on the Hard diff
20:52 -kevincela-: 00:36:730 (2) - What about adding a clap at the end? It is a little thing, though it keeps your 1/2 clap pattern, which fits really well there :p
20:52 XinCrin: Oh , Sure
20:52 XinCrin: Added
20:57 -kevincela-: on the Insane diff
20:58 XinCrin: Ok
20:59 -kevincela-: 02:04:502 (1) - You should totally remove this new combo,it doesen't have really much sense both rhytmically and pattern wise, and it makes 02:03:987 (1) - a lonely combo, which isn't really needed

21:04 -kevincela-: 02:18:216 (3,4,5) - I get the intent on this pattern, but this doesen't really flow that good as it should... 02:18:216 (3) - kinda breaks 02:17:702 (2) - 's oval flow, so the whole pattern is not really smooth to play. I have in mind another type of symmetric pattern which could flow really good: Here's what I have done, see if you like it!
