I need help editing my skin

I recently downloaded a new skin, which i slightly edited (cursor + trail), but on the left and upper side, there is a "barrier" which sometimes covers the circle. Could you tell me where this is listed? I´m using this editor:

and heres another, different skin which shows more obvious what i meant with barrier:



Thanks for any help, since I have absolut no idea about skinning whatsoever.

Most likely scorebar-bg or scorebar-bg@2x (same thing depends on your screen resolution)
