there should be a non-zero probability of it, but i don't have a distinct memory so much as a vague impression that it likely happened... but i doubt i can really prove it to myself without an apparent and credible memorysynthwavesquid wrote:

Embarrassingly, no, quite the opposite. Not having paid particularly much attention to English classes in high school, I ended up doing rather poorly in literary analysis. (Borrowed my friend's notes for Fahrenheit 451 and Merchant of Venice.) When I went into my junior year, the questions became more philosophical and I actually enjoyed those more.
Now, onto visual novels... Now that I share opinions with others on what I think of each one, I realised that analysis is a good skill to have. However, I get too much into it and relate it to my personal life experiences (and the philosophical studies mentioned above) to an unreasonable extent. Knowing that others give strong opinions, I too felt the need to press my opinions strongly on others as well. To put it simply, the response others give me is "it's not that deep".
Perhaps it's just me pretending that I'm an experienced adult even though I'm only 20 years old, but I've grown out of some things that others my age still enjoy. For example, the "childish friend" archetype in anime, if not done right, can be off-putting for me. Again, overthinking fiction versus reality is my downfall when I'm supposed to be enjoying these kinds of media.
The next person didn't fully read everything I just said. (And I wouldn't blame you.)hah! i did!(also just because someone thinks you're looking into something too deeply/ doesn't mean there's no basis in what you see [in fact, what you personally get from it is important imo]. i find "the curtains are just blue" logic is one of many things that has rotted people's relationship with media/art. also, i mean, differing tastes and losing interest in some things is just inevitable and tbh i don't think anything's wrong with that on its own)
(then again i have zero reference for what you mean by unreasonable so...)

once a year with a cracked version, maybe? but it becomes too much for my computer after a couple hours, and i typically have to close every single application i reasonably can in order to run it smoothly with non-intensive graphics/render settingsIsshiki Kaname wrote:
