something about already being visible, and the way that becomes its own compulsion...
to present a consistent persona that "must" survive (as though it were your own physical life)... therefore becoming more visible and more attached to that persona, in a reality where any informative impression you contribute is irreversibly forfeited to the cognition and decisionmaking of other people from then onward
every moment of conversation and connection is another seed from which a tree may be planted. every time you feed each patch of soil, you dig yourself deeper in with your very own root network, from which freedom/escape means ripping yourself off of the imprints of selfhood you've submitted to the earth and its wildlife (all the while, the roots remain there in lifeless decay at the whims of its surroundings, vestiges which lie indifferent to your flighty spells)

i can explain the qna sorta, but it doesn't feel like there's that much to describe;; in essence, lostie uses a cast of characters that are based on a specific mod for a game titled "friday night funkin". the mod of that game is titled "vs. dave and bambi", and lostsilver grew attached to it, so the original characters were re-purposed in a new alternate universe of their own with a unique set of stories
to explore and indulge in that alternate universe, i think she opted to simply try roleplaying as those characters in different fg threads. that continued until eventually i returned to thread necromancy. at around that time, i believe she asked to be given questions for her characters to answer, and eventually we agreed on an informal qna system! but...
because they were never really comfortable with asking questions about other people, and seemed to be primarily interested in playing with these characters, the system effectively became about finding and rotating between different questions to ask with the specific purpose of enabling lostie to indulge in as many sweet and comforting scenarios as possible, based on whatever prompts she wanted to focus on, so... it's mostly guided by that and then refined by whatever i can come up with
if there's anything you're still curious about, feel free to ask a more specific question, i should hopefully be able to answer ^^

bambi: "yeah. i'm not sure if this counts, but a few days ago we were tryna make cupcakes with ex and i dropped a whole uncracked egg in the batter lol-- bandu stuck his hand in there and got the egg out (he had just washed his hands), and proceeded to crack it, then i just started laughing. bandu and i laughed so hard that we cried! expunged was a bit confused, but they were happy that we were happy. :]"
