the voice on the eng version??? the range in texture??? so good

its kinda sad that english makes the lyrics/vocals kind of hard to perform accurately without feeling like it's all running into each other tho, plus the way the harmony transitions between sections is awkward imo
but on the other hand, i love the clicky snappy texture of the original version's electronic instruments so much

i relate most with the kind of person she's singing about-- the one who dreams of better lives that were never had, where they've lost their hopes and dreams and mostly just live stuck in a bubble where nothing happens or changes, and where their idea of a future in the outside world looks so scary and uncertain that they dont even try

it's normal to be upset about losing something you dedicated a whole part of yourself to

realistically speaking, the feeling won't eat away at you forever. at least it shouldn't. though you probably won't be helping yourself by trying to speed through "getting rid of it" (if that's what you're hoping you can do)

i don't know much about grief but from what i do know, sometimes you don't ever really "get over it", you just learn to let it bother you less (though to be honest i don't know whether or not that'll be what happens here)
