- This is a 1v1, osu! standard tournament
- This tournament has a rank range of #10,000 - #99,999 with a BWS formula of "(Rank)^0.9937^(Badge Count)^2". Players outside this range once registrations have concluded will be unable to participate.
- In the interest of the upcoming Combo scaling removal pp Rework (CSR) - players who were in the rank range either pre-CSR or post-CSR will be allowed to compete.
- Players must have the United Kingdom flag on their osu! profile to participate. If any player currently resides in the United Kingdom but does not have the flag, they must message the hosts for approval.
- This tournament is aiming for badged status. Thus, players will be subject to official tournament screening.
- All players must join the tournament Discord. Players should change their nickname on the server to reflect their osu! username.
- Staff members, except for streamers and commentators, will be unable to participate in the tournament.
- The top 32 players, following qualifiers, will move on to a double-elimination bracket stage. The amount of qualifying players is subject to change, based on the number of individuals participating within qualifiers.
- Every match will be conducted with a referee present.
- All match times will be listed in British Local Time (UTC+0).
- The mappool will consist of No Mod, Hidden, Hard Rock and Double Time pools, including a singular tiebreaker map, which will not be present during qualifiers.
- Every map will be played with No Fail, in addition to the listed modification.
General Rules
- Participants should uphold a competitive but positive environment and treat all staff members, and other players, with respect; this extends to match procedures, where players should do their best to ensure the smooth running of matches, avoiding unnecessary delays.
- Any disruptive behaviour, including but not limited to: cheating (as per the osu! community rules), failure to cooperate with match rescheduling ("schedule cucking"), and bracket manipulation, is strictly prohibited.
- The organizers reserve the right to amend and adjust these rules as, and when, it is necessary. Any amendments to the ruleset will be adequately communicated to players.
- Where written rules fail, common sense prevails, and the organizers have the explicit discretion to apply their judgement as they see fit.
Match Rules & Procedure
- Both players have the option to play a singular warmup map, with a maximum length of 4:00 minutes.
- All matches will have a referee present, who will create the lobby approximately 10 minutes before the match is scheduled to take place.
- Approximately 5 minutes before a match is scheduled to take place, players will receive an invite from the designated referee.
- Players will have a maximum of 10 minutes past the scheduled start time, to join the match. If a player fails to show up to the match before this point, the opposing player will be granted a win by default.
- Following warmups, both players will use the !roll command to roll. The winner of the roll will receive the option to decide either the pick order or ban order. The loser of the roll will decide the remaining order.
- Players will have 2 minutes to ban a map, failure to do so within this time limit will result in a lost ban.
- Players will have a singular ban in Ro32 and Ro16. Players will have a second ban, starting from quarterfinals; bans will follow a "snaking" order (ABBA).
- Players are permitted to double-pick a singular mod.
- Players are not permitted to double-ban or triple-pick a singular mod.
- Map picking will follow an alternating order. In the circumstance that a match reaches a "final point" (i.e.: 8 maps played in a Best of 9) without a winner, the tiebreaker map will be played.
- Players will have 2 minutes to pick a map, failure to do so within this time limit will result in the pick choice being passed to the opposing player.
- The tiebreaker map is considered FreeMod, and players will have the option to play with Hard Rock, Hidden and/or Easy. No other modifications besides the aforementioned are allowed. Taking a modification on the tiebreaker isn't required.
- Modification multipliers keep their multipliers on the tiebreaker, with the exception of EZ, which has an x2 score multiplier.
- Should a player disconnect after 30 seconds have elapsed, they will receive a score of zero unless ample evidence can be provided of their play (e.g. a replay file or streamed evidence). Should they disconnect before 30 seconds have elapsed, the referee will abort the map, and it will be replayed a maximum of one time.
Qualifier information
- Qualifier lobbies will be provided to the players, who may participate in any lobby that they prefer.
- Should players require an additional (EX) lobby, they must make this request through the rescheduling channel on the tournament Discord, and these requests should be made no later than 2 hours in advance to allow for appropriate staffing.
- All qualifier lobbies will have a referee present, who will create the lobby approximately 10 minutes before the lobby is scheduled to take place.
- Approximately 5 minutes before a lobby is scheduled to take place, players will receive an invite from the designated referee.
- Players will have a maximum of 5 minutes past the scheduled start time, to join the lobby.
- If a player misses their designated lobby, they are permitted to reschedule their lobby, if available.
- The qualifier pool will be played through in the lobby, following the order on the spreadsheet, exactly once.
- Once all lobbies have concluded, the top 32 players will advance to the bracket stage.
- Should a player disconnect after 30 seconds have elapsed, the map will continue (unless they are the only player in the lobby) and the player will be permitted one map replay. Should they disconnect before 30 seconds have elapsed, the referee will abort the map, and it will be replayed a maximum of one time.
Reschedule information
- Reschedules are permitted up to 2 hours before the match is due to be played. However, players are granted the right to decline a reschedule if it is proposed less than 12 hours before the match is due to be played.
- If players cannot reach an agreeable time, they should make a conscious effort to reach out to the organizers, who will aim to provide a reasonable time for the match.
- "Uncertain" matches (e.g., loser's bracket matches) will be displayed on the spreadsheet and need to be scheduled much like "certain" matches.
- If a "certain" match takes place after an "uncertain" match is due to take place, the organizers will manually reschedule the uncertain match, and players will be granted 24 hours to reschedule to an agreeable time.
- All qualifier lobbies must be completed no later than the 1st of December, 23:59 UK Time (UTC+0).
- All matches for a stage must take place no more than 24 hours after the stage has ended (i.e., All matches for the Round of 32 must take place no later than the 9th of December, 23:59 UK Time (UTC+0)).
