[resolved] [osu!stable] How do people do, like, "_____'s Easy" or something like that?

I want to do that too on one of my favorite beatmaps, but it just KEEPS saying "the beatmap isn't yours". Is that the way to do it? I tried to go to song setup and change it to my username in the form. But it won't budge.

They seem to do this on someone else's map, so in this case that's not the way to go.

@iiryx, when you see "username's diffname" that means another mapper contributed to this set in agreement with the beatmapset mapper. In your case, you can still map a guest difficulty on your fav map but can't expect the mapper to upload it if there hasn't been an agreement before.

Do you need help on how to create such a difficulty? Or did you already create a guest difficulty but you're trying to upload it as your own beatmapset?
