I think I am beyond the degeneration point of no-return with Monogatari and now in the Second Season, shit gets crazier and better. Character development is noticeable.
Rio-
Yuru Camp, good for my old-arse heart that wanted some comfy anime to watch.

Also Dungeon Meshi. Good stuffs, as expected from Studio Trigger.

as a (former) player the first episode is actually pretty decent whilst also staying true to the adapted material, though im expecting a drop in quality just like the arknights anime. also not fanservice heavy as i was expecting which is pretty refreshing for these types of shit.

BUT HOLY SHIT THE OP IS FUCKING PEAK

Classroom of the Elite season 3

I can't stop amazed by how genius Kiyotaka's plans are. The "fight of brains" are just awesome, I can't leave my eyes off them

Currently watching Blue Archive The Animation and enjoying it but looking for recommendations as to watch next.

Is Bocchi the Rock any good?

yeah bocchi the rock is good, however, a lot of the impact it had is people watching a good SoL for the first time in their life lmao, still worth it tho, just try to not lock yourself into only watching seasonals / very recent anime
Jangsoodlor
Watching "Jellyfish can't swim in the night". A solid CGDCT yuri anime (so far)

7 episodes in and I can say with confidence that this is a peak yuri show that puts Lycoris Recoil to shame.

Well, it's an adaptation of Chapter 1 of the game's story. Which every Blue archive players played. So there's nothing new or interesting.

No way Bocchi the Rock is this good. I might even pick back up my guitar after this. Every single Kessoku Band song goes hard as fuck and the animation is top notch.

Now I need anime recommendations as I'm on episode 9.

School Days. This might be unexpected but I think it is actually good.

It does not take much brain power to understand it is not supposed to be a typical romance story, it is a psychological drama where it shows the consequences of immaturity and how not everyone is made to be in a relationship. That's what I feel so far.

It is not perfect and it falls into a lot of clichés though.
great_elmo
If you're gonna watch Chunibyou, let me put this straight.

These mfs think they're in an rpg game. But it's a solid anime even if it's a little cringy in the first few episodes (given I'm only on episode 5 rn).

But I'm absolutely looking forward to Alya sometimes hides her feelings in Russian. It looks beautiful and the fact that she speaks a Slavic language which I somewhat know makes it even better!

currently on ep 9 and this introduction makes so much more sense in FMAB now, also holy fuck someone give edward a hug the amount of PTSD this guy must have is quite scary

Natsu no Arashi! Akinaichuu... or Season 2...

They took the dramatic moments off, hah, it's now a regular comedy.
Nuuskamuikkunen
So, dropped UtaKata, started Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

It's a school anime but everyone is genuinely deranged and not in the cute way. It's dark but surprisingly hilarious.
great_elmo
I just started watching Haruhi Suzumiya and it's already pretty solid but it's hard to watch on an emotional level like a lot of KyoAni anime before 2019 as I don't even think the people who animated it are even alive anymore.

Haruhi Suzumiya is a horrible person though
Patatitta
I posted in the wrong thread LMAO

just finished girls band cry yesterday. best anime i've watched in a while and its not even close (not that i watch much these days). if i were to compare it with bochi then i would pick this all day everyday though i still think bochi's songs are still better.

Decided to pick up the og sword art online today. Only episode 1 but I heard it’s a very divisive anime so I wanted to see if it’s good or bad.

Yes, the 2012 one.

It's been quite some time since I watched an anime in its respective season and I am doing that with Monogatari Off & Monster Season.

I had some criticism to the weakness of Yotsugi's and Tsukihi's arcs from former seasons but damn this arc went strong and shows one of the best character dynamics I've ever seen.

a reminder for my future self to watch the new monogatari season

finished bang dream its mygo a couple days ago. started watching because girls band cry announced a special concert for Togenashi Togeari x MyGo!!!!!. anyways, whilst the story is enjoyable i think the thing that caught my attention is the music... Holy. Fuck. words can NOT describe what i have just heard, literally. like i cant describe what genre it really is. i mean its not your typical contemporary j-rock and its most definitely not for everyone. its like a mix between punk rock, hardcore, emo (not a joke), and also a bit of progressive as well (though only for 詩超絆 and 迷路日々).

now, i listened to the songs after i finished the anime but i think people should do the opposite, listen to the songs and if you like it then you should try the anime. i think the reason being is because the anime really compliments the song really well, where as in usual anime, its the opposite, the story carries the whole thing with a sprinkle of music here and there. best thing is you dont need to watch the last 3 seasons of bang dream (+ the movies) to enjoy it as it is a side story. music and story definitely not for everyone tho and i fully understand it but i think people should really give it a shot.

I'm rewatching watamote, this slice of life anime is a BANGER

Heck I love this series.
SZS predicted the 2024 average internet behavior. I know it's a comedy but I have this constant feeling everything is wrong. It's hilarious and disturbing.

Since I have Prime Video now, I'll be watching a bunch of anime, starting with Call of the Night!

Yeah she's a bland stereotypical character that doesn't even do anything interesting in the series. Nino FTW!!!

Although I assume since train guy is new to anime he wouldn't be able pick up on these things.

I just got into anime and manga a couple of months ago, so I have a long list of ongoing animes I'm watching:

- One Piece: Still on Easter Blue saga (I'm slow), but it's so good!!!!!!

- Attack on Titan: I love all of it, definitely one of my favorites. Only a few seasons to go!!!

- Mashle: Muscles and Magic; As a Harry Potter fan, this is great. :)

- JJK: Completed, loved it but cried to it often.

- Kaiju No. 8: My favorite manga, which now has one of my favorite opener songs. So good!!!

- Many, many others: I love anime too much now.

There are two One Rooms, don't confuse them
Eromanga-sensei, though, I watched and finished it and, nothing much to write home about actually, so feel free to forget about it

On another note, I had FOUR more anime I (unfortunately for this topic) watched AND finished, so I guess I'll leave my thoughts on them in the respective topic...or, rather, I remembered a fifth one I'm taking slowly:

SPY x FAMILY
I'm definitely taking this one slow, because the setting is a bit crazy to digest without cringing a bit, though I guess this is what makes this series what it is. Oh binging it all the way from the beginning to Code White.

Uyyy this chat is so long :(

Anyways I am watching One Piece. I like it a lot :)

Haha you got tricked, I don't wanna spoil

this is trending right know, but I didn't read the manga, so DANDADAN destroyed me completely in episode 7, so the question is there´s gonna be more like this?

Also I finished the manga of Dungeon Meshi love it, anymore mangas like that?

for dungeon meshi I assume you're asking non-action oriented fantasy/adventure stories?, so in that case I would recommend witch hat atelier, Hakumei to Mikochi, Shoulder-a-Coffin , and maybe made in abyss

to put a image do

I am currently thinking of watching the new animes that are currently airing this season. After they complete airing I am then going to binge all of it one after the other in a row. I know Dan Da Dan is airing although i have read the manga already so I am caught up on what happens in the anime. Even so I will be watching it.

And just generally I will binge all the animes I think that are note worthy based on my prefrences after the current season finishes airing. (:

i'm watching seirei gensouki: spirit chronicles
it's a good isekai and the characters and verse are bothe well developped
the bad point is the animation because some fights scene were speedruned it's a bit annoying but it's still my favourite anime of the moment with seraph of the end
