We still haven't heard from Lybydose or dkun. Either of them may be the pyro with a guilty. While I doubt that they are (usually you'd say these things at the start of day) it's still possible, and I think it'd warrant waiting for them.

Edit: Fine. It's a semi-open set-up. Anyway, how the roles work is something I won't tell - not yet at least.

I don't think no lynch is a good idea though. We'd be at 4 town vs. 2 mafia tomorrow, meaning we'd be at MyLo - mislynch and lose. Of course we could vote no lynch again tomorrow, but either way we would only get 1 chance at a successful lynch. If we lynch today and miss, we still get another shot tomorrow. I don't have the patience to do the probability calculations, but I assure you 2 lynches gives a greater chance of hitting a mafioso than 1.

Ok sure, the above assumes the worst case scenario that the mafia kill someone every night. There are certainly reasons they could fail the kill: roleblocking heavy, commuting scout, medic protection, sniper thing.

Generally the best reason to go with no lynch is to give the aux roles time to do their stuff. In this case though, there are reasons this could work against us: Is there actually a cop, or is he mafia? What if the motivator motivates a spy (I still don't know what this does)? What if the vigilante kills us instead? What if we learn absolutely nothing from night actions thanks to roleblocks and kills? We'd be wasting time voting no lynch when the best way to find scum is through lynching and analyzing votes.

as doc said, a no lynch would be a bad idea. but then again, is there anything else we can do?

I dunno, I still think he's town from the mistake he made about the setup at the beginning.

I do see Q's logic with the mafia possibly killing off Koki to keep the game moving (I brought up the same thing myself), but really, seeing as most of us are among the more active players in other games I could really see any one of us killing off inactives. The only ones I'm not sure about are dkun and Mara, since I haven't played with them very much/at all.

At the moment I'm actually the most suspicious of Mash, as he seems set on a no lynch even though I think it's been made pretty clear that it isn't beneficial for the town. Why the persistence?

I agree with Mashley as scum, mostly because the moment you said "sticking to a no lynch is weird" he decided to lynch someone. STill, Q has been rolefishing on day one, and endlessly tripping over himself day two. If we have a mislynch, we can use it on the biggest liability.

Wojjan proceeded to enter the sewers. It wasn't the best place to snack, but it was a hidden spot, so it would be safe theoretically. Just to be sure though, the back was on a corner. No spy could backstab someone in a corner!
Wojjan then proceeded to bring out the Sandvich and proceeded to take a bite out of it. "Nom-Nom-Nom-Om-Nom."

Suddenly a spy uncloaked out in the open. Just as Wojjan started eating the sanwich, the spy brought out the knife and taunted.
The spy then started to swing the knife in a taunting manner. "I'm going to gut you like a cornish game hen!"

We all know what happened next.

So alright, there's a 7/9 (78%) chance that we actually do have a pyro so unless anyone else counterclaims, statistically, trusting Lyby may be our best bet. However, if Lyby is indeed the pyro and his results are accurate, then that leaves Quar (or me) to be the second spy, which contradicts the opinion I've had of Q for most of the game now. Though Wojjan DID get NK'd after gunning hard for Q yesterday...

What do you think guys?

Did Mashley say anything about this? Because the only people that could evade a kill were the Blue Spies and Sniper, with the ratio of a Blue Spy being 2/3. Why would he keep it to himself?

Wait never mind what I said made no sense.
Do the Blue Spies know that they avoided a kill?

Yeah, we were told in the morning that his Dead Ringer was activated. In Mash's defence though there were several other possible reasons a kill wouldn't go through - a scout's bonk (this is the claim we were going with if he was called out), a medic protection, a heavy roleblock, sniper's razorback, an engineer swap onto a protected player...

So for the motivations, what were the effects per-class? Were players informed that they were motivated?

Soldier Motivation:
Scout Commute -> The commute will last for two days.
Pyro Cop -> Investigation will be absolute. (Doesn't matter if roleblock, switched, commute)
Demoman PGO -> Demoman won't kill friendly units for the night.
Heavy Roleblock -> The roleblock will last for two days.
Engineer Bus Driver -> Engineer will be notified if any actions targeting one player were switched because of Bus Drive.
Medic Protect -> The protection will last for two days.
Sniper One-Shot NK-Immune -> If Sniper is targeted that night, he will regain One-Shot NK Immune
Spy Kill -> Kill will be absolute. (Doesn't matter if roleblock, switched, commute, protect)
