This post isn't going to be anything too deep, but I have had visual snow since I was very young (along with a really bad lazy eye and astigmatism.. I got horrible eye genetics).

One symptom of visual snow is after imaging, basically where something in your vision moves and for a split second you can still see it there. I was wondering if other osu players who have visual snow have had any issues with it while playing? Like maybe, because of after imaging, you try to click a circle that isn't there because you saw it out the corner of your eye or something.

My after imaging isn't too bad so this rarely effects me, but I'm still interested in hearing other people's experiences :).

It's kind of like a constant static in your vision??? It can be pretty subtle (especially in rooms with a lot of light but is most visible in darkness), but it's there 24/7.

Not visual snow but I once had an eyelash stuck in my eye for 2 months and I wasn’t sure what the pain was until I went to an eye doctor and they took it out. I used artificial tears, playing with the affected eye closed, even sunglasses to dull some of the harsh light.

Nowadays it’s much better now. I don’t miss that time at all.
