Alright.

We have four real life days to get a majority vote.

If we don't get a majority today and the mafia are able to kill tonight, then we are in a position where we have to again pass on a majority since we will be in MeLo.

I did get an initial set of reads when I initially offered to replace into the game, but they're all very weak reads since there's next to nothing in this game that is particularly indicative of anything.

If anybody has role related information that can be alignment indicative, they NEED to release it ASAP. With how little there is in the game on day four, we need any jumping point we can get if we want any chance to get anywhere from this point.

I'd like everybody to at least state any such information or that they don't have any in their next post.

I don't think it fundamentally matters since I think 179bpm would have immediately known what I was talking about if he was town and did have role information, and it would be essentially claiming mafia to do so after not answering the question twice and doing so anyways. Plus there isn't a whole lot of time left, so I'll just move on.

I don't think that a power role had a part in the no kill last night, namely due to how my predecessor used (or didn't use) my role the past three nights as well as the general apathy throughout the game thus far. I think it's more likely that the mafia team this game simply didn't submit a kill in time night three.

Taking this into consideration, I'm choosing to believe that mafia members are probably not going to be posting within two hours of day starting and loudly proclaiming that the scumteam didn't submit a kill with essentially zero provocation. This means Clevelandsmybro is probably town.

Nominomu saying in the very next post that it might have been a doctor is something I don't think he'd go out of his way to post as mafia that forgot to submit a kill. I'm a little worried how we got from hinting about something with Anaxii to having no role information, but I'm making enough assumptions as it is so I'll just keep stacking them on.

Emajakolic was around essentially right after daybreak along with Clevelandsmybro and didn't engage into that conversation how I'd expect a beginner mafia to respond, so I'm choosing to believe he's town for now.

So essentially where I'm at is that two of {Anaxii, Rezq, 179bpm} are the mafia team this game, and I think Rezq is the most likely of the three to be it.

we're not sure about the mafia team size though, it could be two but it could also be one or three (or even more but thats pretty unlikely in terms of balancing)

I wouldn't put three mafia in a game full of beginners, and I wouldn't put role madness in a game with one mafia.

It's an educated guess with the added benefit of 7:2 being a pretty standard alignment distribution.

anaxii looks like hes so done with the game. i would think that mafia would take advatage with the little activity going on but then again its their second game.

for 179bpm, "whatever" he sounds so done aswell but with the added context that you were trying to know everyone's role now it seems highly suspicious. shrugging it off is stupid in my eyes because i doubt you could tell someone's alliance by knowing their role.

my stance stays the same for rezq

It's technically impossible to get a majority on somebody here unless one of the replaced players comes back or gets replaced, but no point doing nothing in the meantime.

Honestly, I'm not sure whether I should continue modding this game anymore. I've tried, but I don't know how to put this game onto track anymore.

I wasn't going to say this in the game since it's against the spirit of the game, but the three slots that completely gave up were essentially the most likely scum just by the fact that they completely quit the moment scum didn't get a kill.

I just happened to know one was town lol

We really need some kind of beginner guide for this forum if we're going to be using it. It doesn't need to be anything but mindset even, since most of this game is just being in a good enough headspace for the game.

I've noticed over the years that the biggest problem with newer players is that they just don't know how to even approach the game, so that would probably help.

people have a shorter attention span than the ones from 10 years ago. its just that. the forum format absolutely doesnt help with matter because one game can lasts for weeks or even months.

I'm now thinking of modding some Blitz games (48 hours day game) to make sure most games can be completed in 2 weeks, but it might be even harder for newbies to join in :(
