ehhhh, I mean it depends. They have tons of visual and audio cues that you can realy on, not just your reaction time. Sure you need to react fast enough to hit the notes, but if they're in a constant stream and not just flying at mach speed then reaction time has little to be improved with playing rhythm games.

Yeah the fact that they're in a constant stream really helps! They're a lot of situation, on osu! for example, where you have to adapt yourself on the sudden BPM change and I kinda think that it helps with reaction time? No sure

BPM changes depends on the map and it's mapper though. If it gets used constantly throughout the map then yeah it could count.
