Oh, yeah, well I was talking specifically about Guitar, because I don't even do Drums anyway. So when do you wanna boost the Sonic stuff anyway? I've had it installed and I've just been waiting for you to get on.
The best thing about it is how it keeps changing up the style. Just got up to the Forest of Myth and I did not see it coming.Seibei4211 wrote:
Wow. I can't believe it, but Nier is a pretty cool game. Way more fun than I thought it'd be.
Haven't played the Disgaea series, hmm?Seibei4211 wrote:
I didn't know RPGs were allowed to be this funny.

Yeah pretty sure the Disgaea series has the Funniest RPG crown
because it likes to TAKE A DUMP ON THE FACE OF COMMON SENSE
that's Disgaea 4!
I know, my friend and I blasted through three of the missions today, there's just something about it that feels blindly fun, like you don't know why it's fun, it just is, and it's a blast.awp wrote:
I finished Dead Nation last night (after beating DNF) and oh god that last level is nuts
such a fun game though
I shunned away from Red Dead Redemption as being another over-hyped game that wouldn't deliver and/or be a one-time playthrough, in the end it seemed like it was the right choice.Seibei4211 wrote:
Since Red Dead Redemption is so boring, and I mean so fucking boring,
HATE that. Especially when it takes 1400x off your combo multiplierSeibei4211 wrote:
It was easy once we realized what we were supposed to do. By the time we figured it out, we had wasted all of our good ammo and just about every single throwable item. Then my buddy died after we killed the last mouth and I had to do the rest myself. By the way, I hate it when Jumpers come out of the sky and don't even give you a chance to dodge.

400 hours is for completionists on each game, btw
Disgaea 1 you can do in 40 hours, but might take 80 if you need to learn the system and figure out how to optimize character building. That's really what the Disgaea series is all about; building your character's stats. Unlike other games such as FFT/Tactics Ogre which try to throw in tricky terrain and weather conditions, Disgaea's main game is "make characters super strong, then obliterate everything". There isn't really a focus on strategy until you hit the land of carnage or dark world (the dark world is interesting because it turns some levels into a puzzle game instead of an SRPG)
Dungeon Siege is a Kill-Shit-Get-Loot game, in the vein of Champions of Norrath, Diablo, and Torchlight. Those games are dreadful to watch, monotonous in their description, and lackluster in their presentation. But where they get you is in the sharp gameplay. Those games are designed to be addicting, and the opportunity for reward is constantly present.Seibei4211 wrote:
I just finished a playthrough of Dungeon Siege III and I thought that was super boring, too. But for some reason, I totally loved DS3. It doesn't make any sense.
This is the reason why I have my PS3 automatically log in to my main (Australian) account at all times, since there's nothing worse than a 100% completion occurring on anything bar your main account unless you want to do all the hard work yet again.Seibei4211 wrote:
Update: I am the fucking Chosen One. Joe Danger 100%. I kinda wish I had done it on my main account though. Would've been nice. Oh well.

But then that'd just make you out to be a masochist especially on some of the harder/longer games to platinum trophy get.
I have not done this yet. Anyone feel like blasting through Normal some time? I've played all five difficulties and found Normal to be the most entertaining.rust45 wrote:
Although, Dead Nation was amazing to play with a friend
Sure, I'd just have to redownload and install it again.awp wrote:

The combat only gets better, so you're in for a real treat.Seibei4211 wrote:
I finally beat the Half-Life 2 series, so I went down and got Eternal Sonata. I have to agree with Ival, this game is pretty sweet so far. The English voice acting is a little bit terrible, but the combat is really sweet.
That's a terrible idea. Party level 6 is the best. The randomized commands takes a little while to get used to but you get an insane amount of item slots, the ability to do 6 harmony chains, and echoes carry over between battles.Seibei4211 wrote:
Also, it's level 6 where you get Moving Command. I think it's optional on the first playthrough, so I will probably skip it cause a friend told me you can change party levels in Encore.
