cuz of this notice on osu lazer i decided not to use unlimited. iirc it said "if you use unlimited, it may fry your computer"

"it may" so it's not all the time

still, that statement that says it could fry your computer is pretty intimidating.

"It may" is a probability. And probabilities can happen at any time. Like me getting struck by a lightning could happen. Sooooo
Stomiks
yeah and "may" can't tell what percentage of dangerous it is. It could be 1% or 99.9%.

They exaggerate a bit when they say that lol

AHH I FINALLY FOUND IT

it wasn't really saying "it may fry your computer" as i thought to remember, but there was it.

It seems that this message got removed in the june 2022 update, where it got changed to "Basically Unlimited"

i think that "frying" part i meant would be "overheating"
his everything
In any case, unlimited is only good for PCs with really good performance so this message is generally addressed to people with an ordinary/bad computer or something.

ohhh I see. Now overheating would be less threatening. Good thing they changed it before it causes huge worries among osu users.
