I think the current system of people earning more points the earlier they set a score is kind of unfair. I'm stuck in school and can't play while some of the others can play the map and earn more points than me.

So far if I have to note the difficulty (the ability to SS the map) and the fun of each map, I would say:
Seishin (TV Size) +HTFLNF | DIFFICULTY: 9/10 - FUN: 4/10
Asa ga Kite +HTFLPF | DIFFICULTY: 3/10 - FUN: 8/10
I just got bored with getting an SS on HDHRDT, so I decided to add a FL to it.

I agree, but there does have to eventually be some kind of tiebreaker to decide who gets the point, either on each song or at the end of the challenge (...speaking of, I don't think I ever considered what to do if players tie in points at the end. Lemme think on that.). The only other metrics I can think of are to either judge through UR on the map, or to do some kind of calculation based on the # of 100s or 50s (assuming it's not a SS, in which case that can't apply). Even ensuring all maps have at least one spinner doesn't necessarily help because players can get the same score from a spinner on a SS which puts us back in the same situation.[ Sebastian ] wrote:

I think that timestamps will have to be involved regardless, but if there's something else we can put in between score and timestamp that might be better, I'm certainly all ears.

I am not afraid about FL but I couldn't get a SS alought no mod for song 2(weak at acc),also I have very limited free time(back home after 22:00 and come to school before 7:00),So skip round 2.

With Rivella dropping out, your bracket is no longer viable for the challenge as I typically don't allow single-player brackets. Jer1cs (and later Flareling) last month were exceptions due to how few people signed up then.'Okkayow wrote:

Hmm, I have decided to leave the challenge aswell, cuz I want to take a break on osu and the challenge kinda prevents me to do it. Even though I want to play the DTPFSD map, my tapping fingers can't hold that much, and it's pretty much impossible for me to SS it. Btw, this is also my first time ever, that I left before the challenge ends.
soo maybe next month I'll be more active as before, depending on the challenge.

Also, with Heip withdrawing due to Covid, that leaves Wimpy in the same situation. With that in mind, I can offer the same thing I did with Okkayow: I can keep giving you maps to finish out the challenge for your own fun, but there will be no prizes offered to you anymore.

I am sorry for not submitting a score on round 5 leaving IAVS alone in his bracket, he deserved better competition (and probably would've won with the kind of scores he was pulling of).
I've learnt that I don't enjoy playing one map over and over until I can SS it. I would've probably had more motivation to continue on if not for the PF modification. Oh well, what can you do?

If contine that,I may disappear for a very long time.(Summer vocation starts on July 15th and end on August 20th,I don't have enough time to play osu! every two days)

Well then, I guess everyone left is just playing for fun instead of for prizes. Although, I'm amazed it took 5 months and 5 challenges before this happened.
I will try my absolute damnedest to have next month's sign-up posted by the 20th. Might not be a bad idea to just post it now for the extended sign-up period.
