Attack on titan has to be my favorite. just based on the fact you actually have to sit listen pay attention and in some cases. research about the show outside of just watching. and i love anime's like that AOT on top

Honorable Mention goes to that one japanese anime that is all about the thermal baths in Rom, yea not even the Roman empire no it's apparently just hot tub lore (I mean bath lore or it least belongs a part of bath lore) I would call that anime: bath lore anime [also it got a weird ass ending at episode 1 like wtf???]
