came to a point where I have little to no motivation playing this game after taking a 1 month break and trying to derust with few results plus my playtime dropping by a lot,any suggestions?

Stop caring about improving and play when you feel like it. Sometimes you just don't wanna play the game on some days, and that's totally fine. A hobby is something you enjoy after all, not force yourself to do.
Also try playing multi lobbies. I always have fun competing against other players rather than improving my acc.

I've already tried to play in multi lobbies but it just feels boring for me rather than having fun
but yea you're right I should to stop caring to improve since it just makes me perform worse than I expect and will try to not force myself to play it everyday..
can learning to play 7k or any other keymode aside from 4k help me make the game slightly more enjoyable in your opinion?
Can't really say for sure though, but I do feel a different atmosphere playing in other keymodes since they're distinct enough to be separate from 4k. Might as well try it since you're currently struggling to enjoy your current keymode.- sleepy chii - wrote:

pretty sure jakads was a 7k player for the most part and then switched to his 4k reign so yeah i'd say so too. Ettiene's video suggests this as well

trying other vsrg for a break and change of scenery always revitalises my love for the game, try out etterna, quaver or bms for a bit

ignore tips from any person above rank 5,000 on how you feel about the game and yourself, bc i think that sometimes they tell you how to feel on their perspective while being better players than ourselves.

I tried it at one point but most of the time the songs that are my favourite ones either had no beatmaps or the beatmap was awkward to play but maybe I'll try againiShanoa wrote:

i thought it would be reverse...higher rank = more experience in "harder" stuff. I mean you wouldn't ignore a 2 digit on advice...hell even a 3 digit they know what they're doing MOST of the time.YyottaCat wrote:

I'd usually take advice from anyone if they know what they're talking about. But yeah, I'd especially take advice from 2-3 digits since they applied their advice themselves and they succeeded.Znow wrote:
