It should be fine for recording or clipping osu!

Streaming I'm not sure about
Polyspora
project zomboid is really heavy on ram dunno if 16 is enough

Imo the Intel configuration is slightly better. 12th gen is a good performer and you get an extra 4 processing threads compared to the 6600H. I've not seen much improvements with DDR5 at this current point of its lifecycle too.

With an RTX 3050 also, you get Nvidia's NVENC encoder which is a godsend if you're trying to stream with mid-tier setups.

thats cool and all but can your pc run minecraft?

AMD versions gonna last you longer. Future proof ram, and a better overall cpu. Should be ok to stream as long as you mess around with your stream settings a bit.

The i5 12500H outperforms the R5 6600H though. The only advantage that Ryzen cpu has is in power efficiency, and I don't think streaming a game on battery is a good idea. You might as well go with the i5.

There's little benefit to DDR5 for gaming and streaming at the moment. Save a buck and go with the more mature DDR4, as early DDR5 isn't any better in comparison. (especially with DDR5-4800)
Heck, you can probably grab a model with more ram with that savings.

By the time DDR5 makes any noticeable difference, you can't upgrade since it looks like the options are laptops.

And like I said:

You can probably get away with either configurations, as long as you keep your expectations (and thermals) in check.
