Seriously stop saying it should be ranked at 573 stars. You should want it approved before then. After all once it is approved the star count disappears. Also the maps don't even reach 573. It just stops at 570 and the song isn't mapped up to 573...
Not anymore. Have you looked at ranked maps lately?TheVileOne wrote:

Eh i checked. Still doesn't give star count.Shiirn wrote:

Also why does the song continue past the 573 bpm mark? Are you saying that it stays 573 BPM for several seconds?
01:54:328 - where the diffs end
01:56:248 - end of the song?
Why?
Or 572 then throw a kudo star to skip 573 :PLouis Cyphre wrote:
this will reach 573 and i'm pretty sure someone will add one more star haha
If you apply the same timing sections as the other diffies, all the notes would be snapped.Hyguys wrote:
Taiko
Resnap all notes.
Make timing the same. Screw 4/4 Time Signature.
yes.^Card N'FoRcE wrote:
So, i discussed the Taiko diff a bit with other BATs, and here's the final conclusion:SPOILER[...]
14.45 <Card_N'FoRcE> : it's the fact that Taiko misses some sections because they screwup the layout while playing
14.45 <deepsea> : :O
14.46 <Card_N'FoRcE> : you all know that map has 473 timing sections
14.46 <Card_N'FoRcE> : the taiko essentially uses only ~126
14.47 <deepsea> : I'll redl it first o.o
14.47 <deepsea> : but dont have much time today
14.47 <deepsea> : damn homework <_<
14.48 <Card_N'FoRcE> : I'm listening to it at 25% and it still sounds ok
14.50 <Card_N'FoRcE> : OH NOW i get it
14.50 <Card_N'FoRcE> : essentially the beats are snapped to the 473 sections
14.50 <Card_N'FoRcE> : but he removed some the timing sections that screwed up the layout
14.50 <Lybydose> : deltamax is nothing but a single offset and 100 BPM, then increases by one BPM every beat
14.50 <Card_N'FoRcE> : yeah i know
14.51 <Card_N'FoRcE> : the timing feels really good while playing
14.51 <Card_N'FoRcE> : i'm only asking about the thing he did in the taiko diff
14.51 <Card_N'FoRcE> : i actually think it's legit, since the beats are snapped to the correct timing
14.51 <Lybydose> : so all the notes in taiko are unsnapped, but they "would be" snapped had you added the sections back in?
14.52 <Card_N'FoRcE> : they're not all unsnapped, also yeah
14.52 <Card_N'FoRcE> : they would be snapped with all 473 sections
14.52 <Card_N'FoRcE> : but having all those sections screwups the taiko layout
[...]
15.02 <Card_N'FoRcE> : yeah i checked
15.03 <Card_N'FoRcE> : using all the original 473 reports 0 unsnapped beats
15.03 <Card_N'FoRcE> : *473 sections
15.03 <Card_N'FoRcE> : and since removing the other sections makes the layout playable, i'm sure it's better to leave it as it is
15.04 <Card_N'FoRcE> : I'll write about this in the bubble post
So, considerting that the timing is actually ok and that thing is needed to fix Taiko gameplay, I feel safe at bubbling this.
Bubble #1Cool, i try to give the map a chance without noone asking me because I think it deserves to be carefully checked and this is what i get.Nilsso wrote:
Retarded Bats =), approve this. You guys approved rainbow tylenol but not this? wtf.
Thank you, I appreciate your support.
seriously go fuck yourself and go make something useful instead of complaining, like calling the BATs to check this?Nilsso wrote:

Yes,[Taiko Oni] diff have a different tag "stepmnia"marshall_racer wrote:
Strange ... In this Thread, the tags say "Stepmania", but on the Beatmap page, it shows "stepmnia"

Popping while I remod this.
[General]
*Where did the nice storyboard go?it goes hellf_ck that video it makes me to do that
*Also, why did you change the mp3? o.O the old mp3 has fake 160kbps bitrate
*Why are the bpm sections xxx.995 instead of whole numbers? inb4 it was whole numbers and it off
[ReMix]
*BPM was incorrect the last time I modded this. It's correct now, but it's on the wrong tick (thus making the metronome wrong). Thus, move the first uninherited section to 315 (it's fine that it's overlapping the inherited section for 0.5x slider velocity). ... k
00:32:530 (2) - kinda hard to see the repeat; could you move this down just a little bit like http://puu.sh/2uoh ? k
00:46:692 (8,1) - overlap is a little bit confusing it's fine
01:31:353 (2,3) - can't tell which is the note and which is the slider... it stacks when you're playing
01:34:057 (3,4) - ^
01:47:079 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - how about switching 4/5 and 7/8? this is pretty hard to sightread at such a fast speed... No.
01:51:741 (1,2,3,4,5) - ouch... that's really confusing compared to 01:52:610 (1,2,3,4,5) and 01:53:467 (1,2,3,4,5). it's fine
[Extra]
00:43:537 (6) - couldn't even see how this slider was shaped because it's hidden by (5). Please don't make sliders hidden like this. k
00:54:847 (1,2,3,4) - confusing and nearly unrankable. Don't overlap sliders like this. :/ k
01:02:770 (1) - not snapped to the correct uninherited section. Also, it's fine to use a 0.5x inherited section at the same time as an uninherited one. k also it's snapped at 1/8
01:06:603 (5) - ^ ^
01:16:035 (10,11,12) - Overlaps like this will be unrankable in the future, so try to avoid them. Please unstack the notes from inside the slider like that. k
01:20:432 (2,3) - fix the snapping/inherited sections like 01:02:770 (1).k
01:20:799 (3) - Confusing since the same slider before it only had one repeat. slider->circle
01:39:665 (6,7) - can't tell which is the slider and which is the circle it stacks when you're playing
01:51:741 (1,2,3,4,5) - How about rotating this entire pattern so that the spacing between (1) and 01:51:522 (9) isn't the same as 01:51:412 (8,9)? k
[lzy's Delta]
00:09:015 (1,2,3,4) - stacking like that is a bit confusing. Why not spread these out a bit? k
00:41:632 (1) - sliders need to have a visible start and end, so make this larger like http://puu.sh/2uqb (this applies for all of the delta-shaped sliders, of course) k
01:02:770 (8) - try making this slider a bit easier to read as well. k
01:20:799 (5) - this slider felt really out of place to me... plus, it's easy to sliderbreak since it's so fast and has so many repeats :/ slider->circle
01:53:811 (4) - not snapped correctly fixed
[DooMAX]
*Didn't recheck yet since it was fine the last time.
[ignore's Another]
*Didn't recheck yet since it was fine the last time.
[Taiko Oni]
*Didn't recheck yet since it was fine the last time.
*However, I'm still not sure about removing uninherited sections to fix the scrolling measure bars...
*EDIT: No taiko-specific background? o.o D:

hmmm... Why more than 6 diffs?
EDIT: Ahh, I see the link to NewRules in the OP. As that thread states, newrules are not going to be enforced yet; they're still a work-in-progress. Also, many of the newrules were things that have been rules for ages but were never written down. This mapset was fine overall, except for a few issues (like the ones I pointed out in my last post). If a few minor issues are going to make you give up hope on this mapset and let it die, then so be it; but I don't suggest doing that at all. Let me know if you'd like me to remod this.HakuNoKaemi wrote:
