My friends suck at osu so at least i can brag to them 8-)
Also its nice to see yourself gradually improve, it gives the game a lot more of a "skill based" feel

- the mapping (not mapping myself but i really enjoy some maps (in all gamemodes)). they fit the songs so well and it kinda feels nice playing many of them :O
- the competetiveness. there's so many things where you can rise. like osu standard, ctb, mania, score ranking, combined leaderboards, pp+, osu!skills, achievements, multiplayer rooms, top 50, etc.

the game pretty much let me do what I want, to play however I want the way I want. And finding new kinds of music, of course.

It's easy to learn std and mania (the modes I play), but very difficult to master.

I like it because it challenges my abilities, and is just competitive.

I always like myself a good competition (even though I usually lose)

I like the community, its friendly.
I also like that the game is competitive and fun at the same time.

Never get bored playing it, even beating my own personal records is fun, it runs on my crappy laptop on about 300 fps ^_^, and the last but not the least (the best indeed), it's community.

It's seeing myself slowly improve.

It's crazy to think that I could probably pass The Big Black (the OG version) with just a few more months of practice, a feat I thought I'd never achieve the moment I started my journey.
