because i waited ALMOST 640 days for a name and repeatedly asked if somebody would help me and nobody responded. i even pointed out that while they last logged in was march 9th, 2009, their last playcounts were september 2008 and MM [i think] was like "NO WAY", even though it was obvious if you looked at the playchart
but it doesn't matter now I guess because I was so annoyed I changed my name and peppy changed it back because morons were spamming it in the chat
i'm just going to leave this here even though nobody's going to care that this is the FIFTH time i've asked. i don't want to continually bitch about it [nor do I want to stop playing, as peppy suggested], but yeah. to say i'm unsatisfied is an understatement

It's not that I think this because it could benefit me if this was changed but, having to wait almost 2 years to be able to delete a never-used account is a little too much, I'd understand if the guy played like 50 maps and then quitted but, come on there are many accounts that were never, ever used and certainly won't really be used since the one who registered it probably doesn't even remember it's password. But it's fine, having to wait 2 years is better than not being able to get the name. xd

Okay, so I've just donated, now I'd like to change my name. Only question: I have a beatmap which i want to submit soon, but it still has my old name in it. Will it change automatically in the map file or will I have to do it (and is that comlicated)? Should I change my name before or after uploading the map? Sorry, I don't know much about this.^^

Well peppy, I'm sorry if I'm such an ignorant. I didn't see the "You can take an existing user's username if they haven't logged in for over 1.5 years, and have a playcount of under 400." and thought it needed a special way.
