i don't really have a good reason, when i was younger i went by jobro, then i was like "that's dumb" and thought shadow sounded cool, then i tacked a "z" on and plain old shadowz is taken on just about everything so i have to put something like "its" or "uh" before it and here we are : )
Thev is my real name, and Aka means red which is my favorite color/ online name so Thev + Aka = Thevaka
I first went by Half a Towel, a translation of my Chinese internet name 半条毛巾. However I changed it to NekoTowel as I felt it goes more smooth.
Didn't thought of this before I made the name but now I realize: Towel rhymes with owl, and owls are pretty cool.

I'd like to think I've always been good at making usernames, but that's not always been the case. I've had some severe fuck ups, where this alias being one of the first good ones, aside from the stupid numbers at the end. When I make usernames now, I just think of something random and build off of it like a thought web, or I make a name based on something I'm watching or something I've thought about earlier in the day.

"is yahiro a word?" looked on random websites if it actually means something and it does? then I added kira because kira kira seems weird. and then turns out kira does mean something i think. and it kinda matches with how people describe me too so well it kind of checks out I guess. For me, I chose "drum drum" for a reason I don't entirely remember. But I believe it's based on my past fascination with drums of all sorts. Surreal, oh boy....Well, I was looking for a solid username to sue after switching from Goldenjacket as a kid lol. The first thought it my head was goldenjacket56, before I ended up jsut randomly coming up with the word Surreal. I guess it could have rooted from the fact my favorite style of art is Surrealism. I took away the ism, and ended up with Surreal more than likely.

It was literally super random, i just tried to think of something cool inspired by Asian culture and religion.

VOS is an acronym for ''Voice of strangers'' it was a group I created with other people back then , Laika comes from the dog that was sent in space as Im born the 2nd of November
I was coming up with ideas for what I was going to name my YouTube channel in the future when I was in 5th grade. I was originally going to name it DrRBXYMS (Lord knows what the hell all of those letters stood for) but then I thought that maybe it'd be a better idea to name myself something that fit my personality instead.
Eventually I decided to name myself TheAngryNerd, because it describes me very accurately. I used to ragequit in video games a lot and I was a huge nerd, and I still am. But at the time, I loved DrRBXYMS so much that I combined them into a monstrosity: DrRBXYMSTheAngryNerd. Also, I started watching AVGN a little while before this (He's the entire reason I wanted to make a channel in the first place lol, huge inspiration), and TheAngryNerd was way too similar to TheAngryVideoGameNerd so I just rolled with that horrible username for a while.
Around two years later in 7th grade, I found out that my school deleted my channel because I made it using my school account. Since I turned 13 later in the schoolyear, I decided to make a gmail account and make a new channel. I decided to finally let go of the DrRBXYMS and just be TheAngryNerd. It's been my username everywhere ever since... except that in some sites, the username was already taken, so I had to use something else. The end result was TheAngryNerd101. Why 101? Well it sounds kinda cool and has a nice feel to it and is a pleasant number to look at.
